So it does say different wheels, different dash (unless they are calling the gray dash "Monaco Silver", & "special" badge. Definitely not fully loaded (no tonneau cover, no cold weather package, no brake controller, no Bluetooth speaker, no aux switch group, no steel bumper, no dual top group, no hard top headliner, no all weather floor mats,...). Mentions that that auto transmission is an option, so maybe other options can also be added... Not sure those options add up to the MSRP. Not sure if dealers will still discount this or not.So Besides a "badge" or paint scheme does the Launch Edition give you anything over a standard fully loaded Rubicon? No. If it was something special, i.e. motor(Hemi), Drivetrain package, Or Something to actually differentiate itself, then it may be interesting. Putting a sticker on it and calling it special, isn't in my opinion.
I think you are joking - but just in case someone else believes you, it's right on the landing page:you are fake news!
Yes. I think we are all (or just me?) understanding the term "Fully loaded Rubicon model" to mean, well, fully loaded... no option left behind! Guess we'll see details April Fools Day.
If you're ordering it from Jeep directly then they can't mark it up. After 4/4 all unsold ones distributed to the dealers then... Oh hell yeah they'll mark them up! I think if your ordering them and shop it in the next few days you maybe able to get invoice or a lil lower. My 2 centsI hate that we have two open threads talking about the exact same thing, but oh well, I'll post this here:
"Anything that's optional on the Gladiator Rubicon will come standard on the Launch Edition, including the new forward-facing TrailCam camera and the max trailer tow package that enables a 7,000-pound tow rating."

"The Gladiator Launch Edition starts as a Gladiator Rubicon and then goes nuts with the options. It’s a fully loaded truck with all available bells and whistles, from premium audio to driver aids to the TrailCam camera to spray-in bedliner. If it’s offered on a Rubicon, it’s here."

"The launch edition will cost $60,815, which Jeep execs say is about the same as a loaded Rubicon."

But this seems to be a dissenting opinion:
"The Launch Edition is priced at $60,815 – over $17,000 more than a similarly equipped Rubicon and nearly double the price of the entry-level Sport."

Ugh, I don't like this one:
"On April 4, better known as 4×4 Day, Jeep will sell up to 4,190 Launch Edition Gladiators through its website. The Launch Edition will be a full-spec Gladiator Rubicon with special badging. It will carry a $60,815 sticker price, but we expect many dealers to mark them up a bit when completing the sale. Expect these trucks to ship in May."

Agree we should keep this discussion on the other thread. I just posted my math based on the options specifically listed on the press release falling several thousand $$$ short of the MSRP for the LE. If you do throw in everything but the kitchen sink, it does get close to the advertised MSRP.I hate that we have two open threads talking about the exact same thing, but oh well, I'll post this here:

FCA's FB Page:
I'll take that as a niet.
Got an email from my dealer with a link to the FCA official release. It’s real!Talked to my dealer today. They have no info on this. Wonder if it’s real.
It's not. These are manual standard. So not "fully optioned Rubicon".I would consider if it wasn’t forcing me into an automatic Deal breaker
Sounds like not all options to this finance major, but then again I'm no mathametician, or English major, I bet I butchered mathametician. =pSo it does say different wheels, different dash (unless they are calling the gray dash "Monaco Silver", & "special" badge.
