Why couldn't Jeep make the Freedom panels for front and rear?

Even better would be if the bed was integrated to the body tub like a modern 4 door scrambler with a multi-panel hardtop.... Big dreams. ?
But that reduces the flexibility of the platform.... integrated bed cant be easily removed and something put in its place... two peice is the best option

The big problem with a roll-down rear window is the pocket the window slides in to. It’s one thing if the truck roof is static and can’t be taken off. I’d think it would be way complicated to do that on a Gladiator. I’d settle for a power side-slider.

The early-mid 90s full size broncos had roll down rear windows and a removable top.

I mean seriously... why'd they stop at just the front?
It would be so much convenient vs. taking the entire rear off (especially for ppl doing it alone, or like me with a puny wife that probably couldn't help me).
Or for people that have limited space to store an entire rear roof section.
Or for people that just want to go topless on the fly - like the convenience of a soft top, but with the structure of a hard top.
Seems like a missed opportunity.
Sorry for the rant... In my mod-list making, it's just bugging me that I probably should have sprung for the "dual top" option... but then again, storage.
I like that idea, and agree with you, would take up a lot less room.

I'll wait for a convertible power folding hard-top like the BMW or Corvette. ha. Actually I would prefer the removable rear window and keep the top on, remove doors and cruise around in the open air shade. :)
