Increase tire height proportional to width to get a really good look on it. I'm partial to 37s with 4.75 back space, or 38/39s with 4.4-4.5 back spacing all on the wide track axles.
Backspacing on your wheels is the primary way to get width. then get wide tires. DON'T use spacers. AEV Pintler wheels for the JKs worked perfectly for mine. 315/75/R17 end up poking out from the standard Sport fenders by an inch and a half
If I were to do it again, I’d go +25mm offset with a 11.5” tire width. It will still give you some poke but keeps your tire in stock position on the hub (if that makes sense)
