@JeepCares based on my VIN AT&T says that my vehicle isn’t support, yet I have the ability to turn Wifi hotspot on/off through the UI of the radio. Now my windows sticker doesn’t call out wifi hotspot, so I’m wondering why all Jeep marketing says at there is hotspot for Gladiators yet AT&T says other wise. What’s up with that?

Do you have the 8.4" screen? If not, no wifi.

I had Wifi hotspot for like 6 months when I bought my Gladiator. I liked it so much for traveling, that I bought the 1 year AT&T package. Paid like $200 for it, maybe less, I can't remember now.

It's 4G LTE, not 5G.

There are some issues with the wifi hotspot on some of them. There are a few threads about it. They are working on a solution. AT&T may have just stopped new sign-ups until the issue is resolved.

If you want assistance from JeepCares, you have to send them a private message. They usually do not post anything publicly.

***UPDATE***
Jeep called me today and said the AT&T is not supporting the Panasonic Wifi devices at the moment. There is an issue they are trying to fix. And a fix will not be available until Jan 2023.

For those of you having issues with wifi hotspot on 8.4" radios... what symptoms or indications do you have now that it isn't working? Upgraded to an 8.4" and trying to troubleshoot constant red assist and sos lights on rear view mirror.

I haven’t actually used this perk but I’ll go check it out today later.

If I needed a “hotspot” for everyone else in the truck, I’d just turn that feature on in my phone.

There's actually a TSB stating the hotspot bit isn't supported as of some date earlier this year.
The TSB reads that new sign-ups are "paused"

Upgrades to 8.4 are a whole separate issue, with their own problems. There is no support from FCA unless it's factory installed. Getting any help from AT&T or SiriusXM can also be difficult if it's not factory installed.
