One thing I hadn't noticed about the Willys. Not only is the grille black, the trim piece below it is black as well. I kinda like the looks of full color surrounding the grille. I may look into swapping the lower trim piece with a body color.

I think this looks better too. Would consider doing a swap but would really depend how cheap you can get the pieces for

I'm going to have to look for the parts breakdown to see exactly what's different. Weird they use two differnt style grilles.

I just talked to a local dealership that said the premium audio package is no longer available for the Willys edition. That throws a huge wrench into my plans to order this week.

Take a look at this, I was looking at it since my Willys came with Uconnect 4 and I want the 4c one. But it was too good of a deal to pass up. Might be a solution for you.

Really? You can configure it on the website right now and my order (place on the 28th) included it with no push-back/issue.

That's an odd change to make. I'm actually surprised they offer the LED light package standard on the Wrangler Willys but it is an upgrade for the Gladiator Willys.

Yeah it is odd. If factual, I would think that perhaps it's in response to the Willy's chewing into Rubi sales so they are limiting package offerings like they do with the color matched top. They must have some algorithm that shows folks wanting a Rubi will not get into a Sport S BUT they will get into a Willy's (unless they want premium audio now).

I hope my dealer is wrong about it. They are looking into and said they'd contact me later.

I can upgrade the touch screen. That doesn't look too bad, but I have no idea how much it would cost to upgrade the stereo.

I'd think that would be the point of them offering the Willys though... for folks that want some of the functionality of a Rubi without the $$$

Got my Willys last week! Absolutely love it! So much different then my last Jeep (a ‘99 TJ on 37’s)
