On the back side of the connector body there is a tab you must depress. It will take a small screw driver to reach in there. While it's depressed you slide the connector off the little plastic mount. Or pry the Christmas tree out of the side panel. Either way it will come out. I broke one on my truck a couple weeks ago. I wanted them unmounted from the body in order to use both hands to better align the halves when reconnecting. I don't intend to remount them. This is an absolutely horrible design that FCA should correct. How do you take the connection with the pins off of the body of the Jeep?
