The bolt that holds the windshield on to the cowl/hood area that is painted..............is it possible to get a painted replacement? I was loosening mine yesterday to lower my windshield to try to troubleshoot a windnoise and notice that one of the bolts was painted crappily and when tightening back, the paint began to flake off and crack / chip. Not inside the star but on the bolt head itself. Looks like crap now. Do they even offer this?

You might be better off just using some touch up paint. I did that for some of my tailgate bolts (they were unpainted from the factory). You can find painted ones on eBay, but they are expensive because you have to buy the whole hinge kit. Plus, they are used takeoffs, so they may be chipped already.
