I just had this issue. There are multiple sections and it’s unnecessarily complicated with weird connectors. Probably why it clogged. I was lucky that it was the easy to remove section along the fender. I blew that out with compressed air and when it was out, I blew compressed air through the rest of it. I thought it was going to be a PITA, but it turned out to be an easy job.

I do a 50/50 mix using the blue stuff and distilled water. Has worked well for me across many years and vehicles.

Outside of bird sh!t, I wonder if just straight distilled water is enough.

You clearly don’t live on the east coast. You aren’t getting bugs off with distilled water.
Drove my motorhome through a swam of 17 yr locust a few yrs back. Had to use a scotch brite pad to get them off the windshield.

Shoot. Same issue. I used a pin to try and unclog nozzle. Pretty sure I damaged nozzle because I made it worse. Just ordered new nozzle and some hood insulation clips. I’m fairly certain it’s just the nozzle because other nozzle is fine. Only having issue with one side. Hood insulation is in way. Don’t try and unclog it with pin.

Are you using Rainex. If you can get the nozzles out vinegar will clear it

I tried. Removed nozzle, broke a lot of hood insulation clips in the process, flushed with vinegar and hot water, then reinstalled, and filmed it. It wasn’t this bad before. I stuck a pin in it before removing it. Pretty sure I damaged nozzle. I ordered new one. I don’t think I ever used rain-x. Wondering why it’s only one side having problems? Weird.

Not a hit piece on Rain-X or for Rain-X, being I've used it since the early 90s. The 3rd filling of Rain-X now my dash light for low windshield solvent has been on. That's the culprit... my current "fix" is -20 f freezing point solvent until I'm in weather is above freezing. Then I will probably fill with distilled water and dawn dish soap to clean out lines, the sensor and windshield spray nozzles and maybe some denatured alcohol to flush lines, sensor and nozzles too. I don't blame Rain-X it's made to leave a film on glass to prevent bugs and bird s### from sticking.

Maybe the bugs west of Mississippi River don't stick like bugs east of it. Danged if most regular windshield solvent clear them off. The damn "love bugs" in Florida even damage the paint, I've had to use scouring pads to remove the damn bugs too. ;) :like: The flatter the windshield the worse it is.

got the same issue with my 21 Mojave. tried to blow out the lines and air goes down to the pump and you can hear it bubbling, so I doubt that is clogged up too much.

tried going the other direction and it spit some out some on the windshield and then nothing but air. siphoned out the washer fluid and added in some distilled water and dawn. tried running the pump many times, but nothing came out.

looks like a pain the butt to remove the reservoir, so she's going to the dealer in Dec for them to look at. it will be her first trip to see the dealer.

only time I added anything it was Walmart bug remover (the green stuff). this flat windshield is a total bug magnet.

so we finally got in to see the dealer and let them look at it. he said it was clogged up. he said not to use any green or orange windshield fluid because that will clog the system.

only use the blue and if you are in an area where it might freeze, add some alcohol to it.
