That adhesive holds better than you’d think. It holds body panels onto cars. It is absolutely solid. To the extent that I had to take it to the body shop for bed repair and I had to leave the bracket on. It would have been too tough to remove it. Easier to just unbolt the camera from it. I have a soft topper, so mine is on the tailgate, but identical idea. Bracket is attached with 3m vhb. It will NOT move. Just remember to clean with alcohol first. Three pictures. One showing the bracket before attaching the camera.figure i'm going to have to drill for the cable anyway, another 2 holes will simply be more reliable in the long run to have it bolted on rather than relying on the 3M adhesive. would rather not have to deal with an adhesive failure and camera hanging off the back of the camper in a few years.
can you share a photo of your set-up using the provided bracket and 3M adhesive?
