I'm puzzled by the workmanship of the front suspension on my Gladiator. If you look at the pics below (highlighted in purple on one) you'll see a jagged almost improvised piece of metal where you would expect a washer or bushing. One is to the right of the sway bar link and the other is where the track bar attaches. I plan on brining it back to the dealer of course but just curious if anyone has seen this before (hopefully it is not normal)?

Yea not a bad question and there are plenty of decent answers. As far as build quality? I’ve gone over my 2024 Sport S, that has some decent safety and convenience/comfort options and packages, without Max Tow and the 1,600 lbs load cap. But the ride as better than the last two Colorados I’ve had, handling not as tight, but ride well controlled and comfortable. Especially with the 245/75-17 HT tires. The build quality is better than the Chevys and materials are better quality all around. Mileage is a little lower and power also. But everything lines up as well and better than most, with ease of maintenance well thought out. So far in 6 months a 5,800 miles no problems or glitches st all.

I agree about the overall quality and ride of the truck. My son has a 2022 Chevy Colorado and my Gladiator has a better ride. My prior vehicle was a 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the Pentastar 3.6L V6. I drove that for 110,000 miles before trading on the Gladiator and it was 100% reliable for 8 years. I'm a Mopar/Jeep fan absolutely. Really happy with the Gladiator.

Someone has already explained what they are and why they are there, but I think he's just having some fun with it, and honestly, he came up with a good one for a chuckle or 2. :)

When I was about 12 or 13 years old in the early 70s in my friend’s garage (and his dad was a mechanic) I would pick up stuff on the bench and I would ask my friend‘s dad, what is this called? He would say that is a “Leaveright” ……. And then I said what is a leaveright? My friend‘s dad said “”leave her right there!…… and stop touching my tools! “”Leaveright””

I got a smile as I read that because I have similar memories, but "Leaveright" is new, and and makes it even better! That's really cool.
