New guy here, I posted in wrong area, my bad..
So glad you posted this pic. I'll crawl under and take a peek today. My 2020 JT Rubicon (which I just got) feels like it has zero shocks on the rear, just bouncy springs. Others say those fox 2.0's are like that and it is kind of hard to believe with 25k miles they died this soon. If dealer wont replace under warranty I was looking at upgrading to the adjustable Fox 2.5 w remote reservoir. It's just that 1300.00 a pair kinda has to sink in a bit longer.

Shortly after I bought my 2020 Overland JT, I put max tow springs under the rear, Rubicon take-off springs up front and Rubicon Fox shocks all the way around. I found the back end "bouncy". When I traded trucks, the dealer said strip it down and make it stock, factory original again. So I removed those springs and shocks.
The shocks are still sitting in a box on the floor of my garage because I find them no better than the shocks that came on my new 2022 Overland. Why switch just for the looks? (ok, so I admit, if they were better shocks even by a little I might swap to have cool looking shocks that really no one but me would ever notice or care about)

I think mine are worn out too. I loved mine, but it doesn’t feel like it used to anymore. It was rock solid and stable. Now when I hit big bumps it feels like my shitty oem overland shocks.

I did brand new take off Rubicon LE shocks and springs when mine was almost brand new. 40k miles later they seem to be shock. I just nut and bolted my Jeep the other night and everything was still good there.

Odd for the Mojave to be worn out. Are they adjusts? Wondering as I have no idea. If not I believe they are rebuildable. I wasted stock shocks on my Max Tow, then found out quickly I was going to waste Rubicon Express shocks if i kept using them after 20,000+ miles. Using Falcon 3.3’s now and love them.

I keep looking at the 5100s but don’t know enough to finally make the swap. I can say I got a set of fox shocks from the MPP lift from a forum member and have been pretty happy with them for around 2 years now. They’re finally starting to feel…”loose”….going over bumps and such. I have a lot more cabin movement than I used to.

I'd be surprised if Fox shocks got worn out after 2 years......unless your running the Baja 1000 regularly. I mean they're supposed to be a premium shock.

I've always had great results with Bilstein's. I've never run the 5100's but I have run the HD's on my JK and my GMC before that ran Bilstein's. They've been terrific and the GMC's lasted over 100K and the Jk I put on at 2K miles and they are sitting at 61K miles now with no feeling of degradation. Don't think you can go wrong honestly with Bilsteins

I can believe it. I had mine in the shop this weekend for them to take a look at mine again and he said yea I should probably start to think about changing them out

Fair. Ive had them on for probably 40-50k and they were used before that so I can’t account for how they were used before hand ?‍♂

Update: dealer had it for a week and a half only to diagnose a leak on the remote canister on the left side only. Doesn’t matter that they’re both worn out. They’re only “authorized” to replace one. Now I’ll have 34k mile difference between the two sides. Oh and also it’s going to take over 3 months to get the part. No ETA is given for the part but they won’t keep my car and so I either have to drive it and continue to ruin my tires or use some one else’s vehicle.

Recently my Mojave has been riding super rough and loud with a decent vibration on the road. Took it to the shop to get rotated and balanced and it was all good there but noticed the tires have some pretty decent cupping. Looking it up, it seems like that’s a suspension issue. More specifically, worn out shocks. I only have 30k on the car total. Mostly highway miles. Off road occasionally but nothing drastic.
has anybody else experienced this already?
is it on both sides?

I have the Rubicon Fox Take off shocks on my truck and its just used as DD and transporting my kayak and gear to fishing locations nothing crazy. I have 30K miles on them and they are not in good shape from what I was told.

Not trying to get legal on anyone but I seem to remember Jeep saying that they used Fox "branded" shocks.... Why didn't they just say Fox Shocks unless they worked out a deal with Fox to use their branding as a marketing ploy....

Ford did this a few years ago as well and those shocks were garbage. I replaced them with Bilstiens after only 4k miles and have over 75k in them and they are still great.

I'm going to go with the AEV kit with revalved 5100 series after I get back from my overlanding trip to Chile!

Yes, they are Fox shocks manufactured to Jeep specifications. They don't directly match any of the shocks in the Fox lineup.
