Wrong way to park a Gladiator .

Yeah that TJ did its job. I'm beat up but still around. Was hit by a Chevy equinox SUV and it was a goner. Yep I climbed out the window with the help of a lot of great people who stopped to help . now comes the really painful part ; dealing with insurance companies. Was checked out this morning, bruised ribs and sore back , hopefully not long term injury. The side airbag deployed in a pillar and saved my window from my noggin. Thing is built like a tank.

Wait, the side curtain airbag is in the B pillar? I thought it was in the seat itself.

Must be a Hydro Blue thing, 87 year old woman ran the light and t-boned my 2015 Wrangler JK in 2019. My Wrangler rolled didn't break any of the glass. It totaled my JK that is how I got the 2020 Gladiator Sport S

Happy to hear you and the other driver did not suffer any worse injuries. If they fix it make sure you request extra cash for Loss Of Value. That's gonna show up on a car fax for sure and will hurt the value down the road.

Start shopping for a new one because the odds are it'll be listed as totalled.

Have a friend who side swiped a K rail on the freeway to avoid a collision in his 100 thousand dollar Grand Cherokee Track Hawk last year. The damage was way way less than the pictures of your JT. He was shocked when the insurance company totalled it. I know the Track Hawk is a unibody, but I'm just sayin'.

Personally I hope it is totaled. If it's not this is one of those that will haunt you down the road. You're probably never going to get close to what a comparable vehicle will get due to the extent of the damage. Let alone the fact that these types of things tend to carry undiagnosed issues and problems that don't arise until down the road.

FYI - GLAD you are alright! Get that thing totaled and go order yourself a brand new one!
