Watts/volts = amps. You need 960 watts for 8 amps at 120 volts. 400 is good for like a very small drill. Or a few laptops, a George foreman grill, or something like that.

Tiny crap. Laptop, George foreman grills, haha. But it's good for charging batteries too, for battery powered tools

Change batteries, Hand held GMRS, Radio/Bluetooth, flashlight. Some of the junk I have didn't come with a 12v or usb charger, only a 120, it's been handy.

You can run an extension cord for an LED light if you’re setting up camp in the dark. I’ve plugged in a splitter and run 2 cords, 2 lights before

Battery charger for my battery powered chainsaw I keep in the bed. I can store the charger in the tote, so I'm self contained.
