XM Guardian and SOS not working.

So, i know this topic has been covered some..

Why are the service so hard to activate and do the services ever work right?
I bought a new gladiator on 10/10 and the dealer did their part, and everything shows as active...
You press the SOS to test and it says service not active call to activate
press the activate services and goes to activating services and just sits there....
hit the call agent and it calls them sometimes they hang up sometimes they are just mad and say take to the dealer...its all over the place...but it has to be some kind of provisioning issue as the hot spot seems to work so the data part of the modem is ok and i can call the agent from the setup screen so the cell part of the modem works...so what do you do??? the guardian support folks are rude and not helpful if they don't hang up on you and just keep pushing to go to the dealer... do you keep calling and hope to get someone that will try to resolve it or what...any help or thoughts would be great...

Do the Remote Functions work through the phone app? If everything is working, except for the SOS feature, they will say it is an issue with the truck and take it to the dealer. I've had mine active for over four years. I have never used, or tested, the SOS option during that time.

yea the phone people said hitting the sos was their way to test so yea the remote app will sort of functions but works but super slow and for example the jeep wave portion just say failed. and the vehicle health info says error loading so the whole thing is spotty at best

You may have to take it to the dealer and let them fight with the SiriusXM Guardian people and AT&T. Explain what it's doing, and that the Remote Support said to take it to the dealer.

lol that was my next plan as was going to call again today and get the level 2 as advised by girl last night and if that fails hand off to dealer to take up the fight ...

Update...
After another mildly painful call yesterday and finally getting a level2 on the phone he assured me he wound research it and call me back and no call back ... but this morning got some emails again about guardian activation so I figured I would give it a try, and everything is now activated working sos assist jeep app jeep wave Mopar site xm guardian etc.... so i will give Bill all the credit for doing whatever he did.

I had a really bad experience with the SiriusXM Guardian service when my Challenger got stolen. I pray nobody has to go through that.

Once you report to them that your vehicle is gone, they stop talking to you about where your vehicle is located. They will only talk to the police. The Memphis police detective told me he won’t talk to them because their information is always wrong.
