It kills me that I didn't think of this and now I'm stealing it. I ended up using a little Xpel film under the mount to prevent damage and now that I'm moving it, I have to clean up the leftover adhesive.Dipped the mount In plasti dip. Took 4 dips. Has a nice clean look.

Very nice clean Install ...Not a Yaesu (it's a 100-watt Vertex), but shows another mounting option using RAM Mount components. The control head is mounted on the stalk attached to a seat-mount bolt with the rest of the radio under the passenger seat.

What are you using for the original antenna mount? That looks real interesting to meNot a Yaesu (it's a 100-watt Vertex), but shows another mounting option using RAM Mount components.
