Enjoy the Ram 1500. I still miss mine but for now I am having to much fun with the JT as the need for the full size went away when I got rid of my trailer and other things

Agreed. I love my Mojave but at times I do miss the 2020 Laramie that I traded. The Hemi being one of those things.

However, it's crazy to get SO much attention with my JT (not to mention the sheer fun of driving it). I grin every time I get in it at the start of my day. I never got that feeling with the Ram.

Two completely different animals.

I should get a little credit for getting a RAM and not a ford or gmc.
Lifetime Ford guy.

Was all set to trade in my beloved F-150 for the absolute sweetest vehicle I ever drove (2020 RAM Bighorn) then the Gladiator came along, stole my heart and overruled my better judgement, lol. Kids are grown now so I was free to indulge.

Best to you and yours.

My wife used to drive my Wrangler but refuses to drive the Gladiator. She sees it as work truck and would not let me take it when I am driving her to a party :) .
The irony.
Wife has a nice CTS Caddy yet wants to take the Gladiator everywhere, and it is a worktruck.

Sounds like reverse psychology like my wife to keep the miles down on her BMW X5 50i. She hated the Gladiator but we seem to be in it 80% of the time since I bought it 2yrs ago

My wife did not mind driving my gladiator. She has a new ford bronco, which she totally loves driving. I preferred the gladiator, but the bronco was the weekend family vehicle, when we had both. Now the ram is the family vehicle. Especially on long trips. It’s just so roomy, quiet, comfortable. Plus it holds so much stuff.

I miss the cool factor of the gladiator the most. I felt like I was driving something special and unique. The ram is cool, but it’s isn’t the same. I do love the v8 though. It purrs so nicely.

Hey everyone,
This has been the best vehicle forum I have ever been a part of. So, instead of going quietly into the night, like usual, I wanted to say thanks to all the great folks and moderators. I learned a ton here and had quite a few laughs. I can never resist the enjoyment of a dumpster fire thread. And there’s been a few here to enjoy.

I really didn’t want to sell my gladiator but I needed more tow capacity and one extra seat, 5 vs 6. So I got a ram 1500. It’s not as exciting but it is a pretty nice truck. And it fits in the garage. I already added a flowmaster muffler to it and have a list of mods for it. I just can’t leave things stock.
Thanks again everyone.

I’ll leave you with this to chew on: if apple made a car, would it have windows?

Apple & Windows; probably not, given the S.Jobs/B.Gates history.

Is that a maxi-cab 1500?

It is a 1500 crew cab with the 5.7" bed.

Thanks! Although I still find myself on this forum almost every day. I still enjoy the Gladiator talk, even though I don’t have one. Lol

Lol, it isn’t. But it’s more ideal than taking two cars. We have two daughters and we always find our selves doing something where they want to both bring a friend. Having the middle seat works great for that. My younger daughter loves the front middle seat. She has control of the stereo. The back seat holds three people no problem. It’s huge.
the 6 seater is only option for half tons imo, versatility is max, almost minivan people hauling capabilities while still having a 4x4 with a box, half tons also wide enough to sleep across the front or back seat if you're a side sleeper, can't do that in mid-size or console truck, I'm back in half ton also but still have the gladiator, will sell it shortly here when I get time, it's got a brand new pentastar lol, rest of truck has just under 50,000 miles (79,000 kms) ;)

@PDiddy, I get it. We're back to owning another Acura MDX because our short-lived experiment of going from 3-rows to 2-rows in an RDX didn't pan out for our family (we have 2 boys).

We just took my older son and his 3 friends to Universal Studios over the summer and we needed the 3 rows. The friends wanted to take my Gladiator, but I told them we won't all fit

Ram is the best truck on the market. I'm partial to the Rebel trim. The 5.7 is a great engine
Rebel is my favorite too, but no middle front seat option. So I had to rule it out.
