save a bit more and get the Armorlite. I just installed mine a week ago and love it. Looks clean and was easy (also been a mechanic for 18+ years) everything lined up easily.

The weather is starting to warm up in NC so I would get something to help me look forward to summer. I going to say a mesh sun shade for the front and the back. After tax, I will have another $405 so will say a dead pedal for the inside and then foot pegs and mirrors for when I take off the doors.

In the bank and put it towards my next college tuition payments for my kids! This ultimately frees up more "disposable"income. ;)

If you’re just getting started, there are a plenty of options, mostly around accessories or tools. If you haven’t replaced a windshield or battery in a while, consider yourself lucky, and you may need that as your deductible. For anything meaningful, with baseline quality in mind, most items are going to start in that 1200 range.

in the tools/accessaries bucket:
  • Jack and stands
  • Impact wrench
  • Torque wrench
  • Off-road repair kit
  • Portable air
  • Communications
  • Phone holders/mounts
  • Doors off mirrors
  • Floor mats
  • Step sliders ( maybe )
  • Switches
  • Bed liner
  • Bed cover
  • 5th rim
  • Overhead grab handles
  • Alien shade
  • DIY door hangers
  • DIY roof hoist/storage
  • Recovery gear ( rope, strap, soft shackle )
  • DIY 4-flate
  • DIY bed boards
  • Maybe some rock lights, or a-pillar light
  • Cheep mini fridge
  • Camping/cooking/cooler
  • Uh hum, portable facilities for bathroom
  • Sealing dust entries for the bed
  • Rust prevention ( for those in the salt/snow areas )
  • Front window tint
  • Extra storage, like where the passenger grab bar is
  • Potentially a spacer lift
  • Some kind of latchable gear box for the bed,
  • Straps
  • Battery pack, charge station, jump pack ( something that’s more than a 1 trick pony )
  • Hood struts
  • Hood decal to reduce sun reflection
  • Oil / filters
  • Chainsaw
  • Ducks
  • Holiday decorations
  • Windshield/sun deflector
  • DIY theft prevention
  • Gps/ nav
  • Hunting gear / fishing gear
  • Good camp chairs
  • Family Spotify
  • Binoculars
  • Bug deflector
  • Mud flaps
  • Spare parts

Travel/explore
  • Hotel room(s) for a small adventure somewhere
  • Nearby overlanding expo
  • Jeep events, like national topless day, or stockers no lockers
  • Hunt/fish/ morel mushrooms
  • Hug the wife/kids goodby for a business trip, book a few days pto, grab some bottles of your favorite juice on the way to an awesome campsite that most ppl can’t get to, save some for the next church service as offering for what you did, and promise to repent

not on the list ( some should be )
  • Hi lift jack
  • Wheel spacers
  • Cold air intake
  • Overhead lightbar
  • Pay increased fed/state taxes
  • Pay increased car insurance
  • Pay increased property taxes
  • Somehow afford groceries for a family when you’re the only source of income
  • Look forward to the next person trying to sell you something
  • Improve the lawn
  • Cable/tv
  • Sirius anything
  • Action camera
  • Pay for other ppl’s crap
  • Medical bills
  • Jeep shoes
  • Legal retainer
I went with a bed cover, alot of ideas here I didn’t think of.cool.

BTC or the stock market. If you think the market is going down, there are some 5% money markets out there (also BIL ETF).

$500 isn't a lot of money, but I'd add it to my money market getting 5.2% interest

I'd like a pair of halo headlights. I've got the factory halogens and I'd like an upgrade. Oracle lights look cool, but that price tag is a bit much for me.
Look at the Raxium lights, $275 for headlights or $315 with headlights and fogs! Extreme terrain
