Oh man. Don’t know I could do the same. Not sure I would even use it. To each their own though ?
I love adaptive cruise control. I've had it on my last 3 vehicles and use it as often as I can. Its not the best in heavy traffic as it maintains a decent distance even at the shortest distance which gives cars an opening to get in front of you and cause you to slow down to open the gap again while more and more cars get in front but on sparser highways for long distance as soon as I feel it slow down due to the car in front that's my indication to pass if I haven't already started to pass them. The one on the Jeep goes all the way to 0 MPH where my others cut off around 30-35 MPH.

You have to give up the entire safety group then.... same price with or without that system.... I want the other stuff in it also, love the auto high beam
My wife has auto high beam in her Cherokee, couldn't hate it more. I don't see how hard it is to flick your light from high to low and back. Cruise only use it in my peterbilt when I start it in the morning to air it up. Other than that never use cruise. Never had a vehicle with blind spot, I do something crazy instead I set my mirrors and use them. Works great for me never had an issue. Call me an old geezer if you want, but the heavy reliance on all that stuff takes you out of the driving and makes people lazy and a worse driver.

Since you quoted me and somehow are trying to come off as superior, let ask you your secret for making all the other drivers on the road around as good as you so they dont become a fly in your ointment?

If I had to bet, my money would be on it just being accidentally omitted from the dealer order screen at the moment. I find it hard to believe they would take that big a step backwards, yet leave the package price exactly the same. I wouldn’t overreact until someone confirms that it truly no longer exists.

I had it all on my previous vehicle. It was standard equipment. And it was a 27000 Jetta GLI. It had rain sensing wipers too. I miss it. Especially Blindspot monitoring, because IMO, the gladiator mirrors are too small. If I were to factory order, I'd at least get the Blindspot monitors and parking sensors. I miss the adaptive cruise control, and definitely understand the utility, but since mine is manual, I'd have to shift it anyway. The GLI was stick too. But it had enough torque to where downshiftimg was never necessary, just fun.

Likely a chip issue... many manufacturers have had to delete some things....

FWIW, mine was built 12 days ago and it has it.
When was it ordered? Is it a 23?

The supply line works going forward

I have to admit that until I got my JT in June of 2019, I'd never even heard of Adaptive Cruise Control. I had no use for it once I did have it and didn't miss it. I took off on a five-month road trip the day after I picked it up and didn't use it for any of the trip during the first month.

Then I got to Yellowstone National Park. I've been going there since 1999, and even worked there for two years after I retired, so I know how traffic in the park works when there are large animals along the roadside, like bears, for instance. We call them "bear jams" and it can be messy. For whatever reason I decided to use the Adaptive Cruise Control during the first of these "bear Jams" I encountered once in the park, and I FELL IN LOVE WITH IT!!

I know it's a poor use of the technology, but I found I could take a LOT more pictures while driving through the park with it engaged than not. Now I would not want to be without it, and I use it ALL the time, I no longer use the basic cruise control anymore, ever.

Not a deal breaker before, but it is a deal breaker now.

Mac

Went to order my JTRD today, just on a weird feeling I asked if adaptive cruise was in the advanced safety group. It normally is, and the price is the same as normal, but when the deal looked at details, ADAPTIVE CRUISE is no longer there meaning NOT AVAILABLE.....

Killed my deal ....
It was on the website when I went to look at a build, Just not under advanced Safety group

I spoke to my salesman this morning. He did state that it still shows if he is building a Mojave but not a Rubicon (what I ordered).

Sometimes weird things just happen. My 22 order was taking forever so my dealer ordered a 23 just in case. 23 is an Overland. He could NOT order it without adding side steps which used to be a standard item. Only an additional $175 option, but absolutely could not submit the order without it. Early MY glitch? Maybe. Could be something similar with ACC.
