I have had good luck with the major Jeep part companies, Metalcloak, Northridge, Morris, AEV, even Quadratec and any issue was immediately resolved. Real Truck has been my most unpleasant experience and I won't ever use them again. They absolutely made no effort to resolve anything on a missing order, replied back rarely, and in the end I just walked away and moved on luckily being able to just cancel the order after 6. Definitely a fair review of the situation is the best weapon a consumer has. I say fair because the terrible rant reviews always make me question the person writing it...its like that person at the return counter at a store who is obviously not following the stores return policy and feels the best way to get what they want is to start making a scene. Solid fair review and then take your money elsewhere in the future.
I too apologize for the experience you had. If you wouldn't mind PM'ing me your order information, at a minimum I would like to dig and ascertain what happened and address it.

I would get with their rep on here and be very specific with your needs.
That's my plan.
Once I have the money and am ready to actually buy............
Sort of stretched a bit thin this month - paying for vet bills and what I've already spent on the truck and cars, sort of have to catch my breath a bit not to mention seeing how the cardio testing goes in a couple of weeks. Likely it will be "you are just old, get over it"

One of the best things with these forums is it is a good place for vendors to see what enthusiasts (who spend $$$) are experiencing and get both the kudos and occasional flamings. Like everyone, I have high expectations that things are going to go great with a purchase, but also know that poop is going to happen.

What initially draws me to a vendor is how their storefront is made, how they treat me (if in person), and price/quality/specs on the item being purchase. I don't want to run into problems, but if a problem arises and the vendor takes full ownership and addresses it hassle free, that vendor will have won my immense loyalty. Northride and AEV definitely did with my DualSport install.

Shipping companies, however... that's another story :) There are times that I think that FedEx and UPS both got one of those Multiplicity (the movie) cloning devices and made a million clones of the Samsonite gorilla and let them all lose in their warehouses. Ha!

Northridge4x4- while not the same size as some of the business’s rattled here. Is the only 4wd parts place I will give money to any more.
Their customer service is spot on- especially when it comes to digging in with other small companies that they distribute for. I think we all can give empathy to small companies right now…. Seems like they are all getting nothing but mediocre experience and trash customer service….. (and I say this because having worked with small vendors pre-covid….. and hearing some of the owners story’s…. I feel bad.). Society in many aspects is falling apart here…..
Northridge is excellent. I had an issue with an item (not their fault), and they took care of it immediately! Northridge Interfaced with the manufacturer and had them send me a new item directly.

Hauk is (was) local to me (in my town). They're gone. The signs are gone.
Doh! I was kicking around the idea of getting one of their breather tube extension kits. Don't know who else even makes one.

I've emailed the boss. Once this is resolved, I will ask for this thread to be deleted and move on. Why in the world did I have to make a negative post here to get someone's attention finally?
Not really sure except for the things that Realtruck pointed out earlier in his reply.

I will say I ordered from @RealTruck recently. The item I ordered was missing a couple of the parts. Sent a message to Realtruck through here. Alex had it resolved in 2 days in a way which FAR exceeded my expectations.
The way my transaction was handled definitely earned them my business.

A lot of times smaller companies are less apt to eat costs than larger companies. I bought a pair of shoes one time from a smaller company; they sent the wrong size and wanted me to pay the return shipping, which, in the grand scheme, wasn't really much money, but it was b******* that they wouldn't correct their mistake and wanted me to pay for it. After arguing with them for a time, I eventually left them a really bad review on Google. After that, they cut me a return label and I edited my review to reflect as such.

Bad reviews can really hurt smaller companies and a lot of times they'll work to correct/resolve the issue to avoid/amend a negative review.

Just my. 02
But at times the review process is faulted, meaning there Hass to be a better way to trust the reviews.

I own a food truck and didn’t event last year with seven other food trucks had a huge event, I do slow smoke barbecue and so did another food truck, I didn’t know they would be there and I’m guessing they didn’t know I would be there, we were crazy busy and they weren’t busy at all so the next day we get a couple bad reviews on our Facebook and Google and I clicked on their names and they owned the competition food truck couple days later more bad reviews click on their names and it’s their friends that on the other food truck, obviously nothing was wrong with our food they were just mad they weren’t as busy as we were and those reviews are still on our site they would not take them off when I contacted them

Yeah, that sucks... but I'm guessing the handful of bad reviews was in the mix with many more positive reviews. And usually, there's an option for you to respond to the review. I would totally call them out for doing that and tag their profile in the response. That's just bad business practice on their part and actually makes you look better overall. Just be professional in how you word the responses. If I was looking for somewhere to eat and saw that a competing business had to resort to that level, it would make me want to eat at your truck even more.
