I wanted to order a 2023 mojave with the blind spot monitoring/ cross path & cruise control with full auto forward stopping and was told that the safety features would add 4-6 month delay to the order.. Anyone else told this? Or experienced this?

Do not ask me to link it, but someone else mentioned something similar in another thread.

Interesting. That could elevate the current market value of my low mileage 2021 cream puff with all the bells and whistles.

I ordered a 23 Mojave with those options and was not given that information.

My 2022 Rubicon was ordered 2/26 and delivered at the dealer 7/16, so almost five months.

I hadn't heard that and I've got a 23 Wrangler with the Safety package on order (not the Advanced Safety package tho). My dealer hasn't said anything about a delay. My order is currently "scheduled" in the tracker.

I'm fine with a delay as long as it's the right color.

Mojave soon
I have a 23 Mojave scheduled with both safety packages. I’m at stage D1 if that matters and I have an estimated Shipping Date for early October (I know that can mean nothing at all).

I saw something someplace about that too......again, don't have the link.

Thankfully I avoided those useless PITA features on my Mojave. I have them all on my JLUR and friggin hate them.

So luck of the Irish for me.......I should have an early easy breezy '23 build.

My 2022 was order 2.10 and I got it 4.8 less than 8 weeks and I ordered every single package except smokers.

I have no idea if this is true or not, but keep in mind that most dealerships are trained to take your order no matter what to have you “locked in”. Just becuse you have an order in for a ‘23 with those options, doesn’t mean it will be built anytime soon. Before you place an order, ask them to print off a current order sheet and sign off on it. That eliminates a lot any doubt. That’s how I always did orders and IMO that’s how any reputable dealership should do it. I’m amazed at how many dealerships will accept an order from the manufacturer build and price or even an email or written down on a piece of paper.

I worked in the auto biz for years, so not just talking shit about dealers not based on facts like a lot of people do.

Sorry it’s probably my fault I ordered a 23 Rubicon with all the packages. 1000% means this will be true.

I ordered a "23 Rubicon with all of the safety packages too. Estimated ship date from Jeep is Sept, 20th. My dealer told me that it is usually a month later than that. I do know that most of the 2022's on the lots do not have the safety groups and my dealer told me that was because they had supply constraints on the parts. I have also heard they are prioritizing scarce parts for the customer builds rather than dealer orders. All of this is hearsay and with my luck things will be delayed as you asked about. All I know is I don't need it right away, I just want it right away!
