I am probably asking for it but I will put out there I have a 2021 Honda Ridgeline that is my wife's daily. Aside from off road or farm/trade use, it will do 95%+ of what I use my Gladiator for on a daily basis. Thing I like about it more than anything is that it does not have all the little "ticky-tacky" bullshit problems the Gladiators has that most write off as a "Jeep Thing" and sweep under the rug.Funny thing was that yesterday, I saw a Honda Ridgeline AWD with truck plates and that '2' sticker on the windshield. That thing is probably as far from a 'truck' as one can get ???
I’d say it’s closer to an El Camino then a real truck.Might want to get off you high horse there, it may be unibody but it has a longer bed than we do. I believe deeper as well
So... you like it longer and deeper?Might want to get off you high horse there, it may be unibody but it has a longer bed than we do. I believe deeper as well
Nah, you're right. Ridgeline was high on my list, until my father-in-law got one. I cannot get comfortable in the driver's seat (too close to the dash), and Honda should be embarrassed of how bad the infotainment is. Interior storage is outstanding, though.I am probably asking for it but I will put out there I have a 2021 Honda Ridgeline that is my wife's daily. So with less towing capacity than a wrangler or many small SUV’s, I’d still call it a crossover with a bed.Well, according to Google, the Honda Ridgeline as front wheel drive only can tow up to 3,500 lbs. As the AWD model, it's limited to a MAXIMUM of 5,000 lbs. Just for FYI![]()
Same could be said about a Gladiator, no?So with less towing capacity than a wrangler or many small SUV’s, I’d still call it a crossover with a bed.
Edit: I’m not bashing what it is. I’m just stating an opinion that it’s not a real truck.
Yeah, it has the typical Asian brand infotainment tech which usually sucks. One other bitch I have about it is the fold down seat armrests are pretty small for any normal size man to comfortably use.Nah, you're right. I don’t like the Ridgelines, but other than the lower tow rating I found this so that it for what it is worth. It is unibody…I’d say it’s closer to an El Camino then a real truck.
My gladiator can't tow 5000lbsSo with less towing capacity than a wrangler or many small SUV’s, I’d still call it a crossover with a bed.

Mine either. But also, I don't need to, so it's good. The Ridgeline is a fine vehicle. Not for me, but for its intended audience. I like having a convertible and a jeep, and a stick too much for one.My gladiator can't tow 5000lbs
How? Solid axles, up to 7650 towing, great cargo and towing capacity for a mid size, true body on steel frame, plow options, etc. Sounds like a truck to me.Same could be said about a Gladiator, no?
Mine can tow 7,000, and it’s second to highest in towing across the trims. 5,000 is the max for the Honda. My gladiator can't tow 5000lbs
