I didn't order the safety pkg, adaptive cruise or cold weather group and it's a soft top........I think that's contributing to a quick/early build. Mine will get held up for a day or two in production because I did order it with the factory spray in bed liner.

There's a YT'er that works for a Jeep dealer in PA and he said Jeep has been prioritizing customer ordered Jeeps. The thought up at the corporate level is those orders are guaranteed sales and won't sit on a lot. So hopefully that holds true.
mine has safety package, adaptive cruise, hard top. I’m also at D1 (ordered mid Aug). So I’m not sure. Love that they’re prioritizing customer orders tho.

My wife has auto high beam in her Cherokee, couldn't hate it more. I don't see how hard it is to flick your light from high to low and back. Cruise only use it in my peterbilt when I start it in the morning to air it up. Other than that never use cruise. Never had a vehicle with blind spot, I do something crazy instead I set my mirrors and use them. Works great for me never had an issue. Call me an old geezer if you want, but the heavy reliance on all that stuff takes you out of the driving and makes people lazy and a worse driver.
Drive in our area with all the hills and curves and traffic spaced just right. My wife and I both love the auto high beam. It allows more attention to your actual driving and not constantly having to hit the lever.
It works perfectly on our Grand Cherokee and on my JTs. My son absolutely loves it on his Compass.

JT mirrors won't adjust far enough out - and it's pretty bad when people here "heel" or pace you and stay in that blind spot - they exist even if you think not. Glad you are a perfect driver and see all things easily in all vehicles.
I've tried to get my mirrors to adjust out but they are so small on these..........
Actually, you are wrong on the "lazy and a worse driver" as the insurance industry and a university study showed. They proved that drivers actually observe more and see more when they have such aids - they become better drivers, fewer accidents.
I love the BSM, ACC and auto high beam - I can pay more attention to other things, and when some ass hole cuts in front of you and makes a turn........... drive Polk County for a while. You'll see what I mean. Even a friend from Toronto commented about the drivers here, how rude and nasty they are. He had even just driven from Eugene on his way back to Toronto when we met up and he commented about the drivers here.

To me it gives the person behind the wheel a false sense of security by relying on something like that to slow you down or stop you.
Studies prove otherwise......... Wait until someone cuts over right in front of you and then hits the brakes to turn and your attention is in the moron beside you coming into your lane.
All the perfect drivers out there - glad to hear you are one and never make any mistakes and never have your attention on anything over than exactly where it should be at all times. Good thing all drivers are so perfect.

Ford could learn a lot from Jeep in this regard. I am still amazed that Order to pickup was only 46 days on my Gladiator.

Same opinion and it works great on both our Gladiator and our Ranger.
JT mirrors won't adjust far enough out
Sounds like a tall person problem. I bet you also have a full head of hair, you beautiful bastard.

Exactly.... I live in liberalfornia Republic of smognaziland, and these are the rudest, most arrogant jackwagon drivers I have ever seen, the PRIUS PRICKS, will come across 6 lanes from your blind spot and cut you off... so many times riding the right lane and inevitably someone will pass a line of cars and dash right on front of me....

I'm a good driver, had a license for 40 + years and never even been pulled over, And as for the super drivers comment about not paying attention, i font crawl in back for a nap, my feet stay at the pedals.... and having driven track cars for most of my life (currently a 2001 Z06) I hardly think of myself as a lazy driver...

In Hampton Roads or anywhere from DC to NYC up the I-95 corridor, I’d go loopy and ghost ride the truck off a bridge without ACC. I went back and forth on getting it “because it’s a rough and tumble Jeep…blah blah blah.” Getting it was the best option decision I made other than the LED lights. As for things to break, I’m a lot more worried about all the diesel emissions crap under it, the stupid auto start/stop system and pretty much all the rest of the electrical and computer systems. At this point what’s one more thing? Especially since if it malfunctions just don’t use it. At least it won’t leave the truck stranded like that stupid aux battery or DEF tank sensor.

Now, that auto braking/brake warning thing. I disabled that dangerous abomination. I swear it tried to kill 3 times in the first week.

Ya the LED pkg was a SPECTACULAR improvement over the leftover birthday cake candles they use for headlights otherwise...

I know right. Both my TJ and JK had headlights that damn near made it impossible to see at night. I’m glad Jeep bootstrapped themselves into the modern era with the JL/JT.

Agree, but sadly they did it a SUBSTANIAL PREMIUM rather than with our safety in mind
(cue the posters defending the $$$ cost)

It’s all crazy expensive. I just built a 2023 Gladiator on the site with the same options as I got in 2021, and it was $75K ?. I’m glad I bought mine when I did. There’s an argument to be made that some of that stuff outta come on it as standard. But they would just roll that cost into the base price.

I just talked to me salesperson about this and he was like “I don’t think gladiators have ever had ACC” meanwhile he sent me a picture of the advanced safety group package and the picture attached to the package is literally just the ACC buttons on the JT/JL steering wheel. Real galaxy brain stuff.

talked to another sales person at another dealer and he looked into a bit more and it turns out jeep just renamed the features so the adaptive cruise control is now “forward collision warning and brake assist” so you’ll be able to set your follow distance and all it just isn’t listed as “adaptive cruise control” on the build queue

Yes, they aren't going to do anything for free, not when they can charge for it. Just doesn't make business sense, no matter how much we want it to.

I believe the 1st sales person is wrong as my 22 Gladiator had ACC.

I believe the 2nd sales person is also incorrect as they are all listed as seperate items....
Kent from Peterson Jeep says they were told its a supply chain issue

Hm that’s interesting. I know I’ll be paying for it since my package was the same price as the screenshot. I’m going to be pretty annoyed if it’s not there when my truck arrives. Doubt there’s a way to have it retrofitted. What I don’t understand is why it would only impact the ACC. Maybe it requires additional chips or something but the camera and radar unit have to be there for the FWD collision warning and advanced brake assist. I’m buying this mainly for road trips with our small camper so it might kill my deal if its just not available.
