No plastic cover on my 3.6L

I picked up my new gladiator a week ago today I opened the hood and notice there was no plastic cover on the 3.6L called dealer and they said it doesn't have one never seen that before

Discontinued those in 21 I believe. I definitely could be wrong. My '20 Sport S has the cover, along with the fender air deflectors so many hate lol.

It's not supposed to. They stopped putting engine covers on some time last year.

Didn't realize there was a cover. I've had mine 3 months have the hood opened several times, If you don't know, you don't know. Even detailed it today after last off road outing

Cover has no purpose, so yes they cut it for cost savings.

I always thought it was odd to have a cover on the engine, but it does make it look nicer under the hood.

Bigfoot in dealer coveralls. Who does the battery replacements. Is using your engine cover as a seat. He has it sitting on a bunch of old aux14 batteries. That's why you don't have an engine cover.

That engine compartment looks great. Since pressure washing is a no no for these, what’s your method? I’d like to clean mine up once and a while.
