Thanks but your answer is like the people who give 5 stars on amazon when they open the box and still have not used the product.

I am looking for Experience backed examples.
I haven't even received it yet, so I'm even less useful!

I've used pump sprayers (1 or 2 gallon) from home depot at the beach, and those are underwhelming for the little amount of flow/pressure and how often you have to pump.
So extrapolating that to a much more expensive Yakima or Waterport, I'm not optimistic that they would work as well as one of these. There are youtube videos of them(scepter example) and they look effective.

I've been pondering whether to buy/make a waterport type container and still stick one of these 12v things into it since the pressure drops off quickly on the waterports. Just what I've gathered watching Youtube stuff..

That's awesome! Simple and effective. Which 270 is that?
I used to have a Quick-Pitch/Alu-Cab 270 and I love it. Looks similar to yours :)

Thanks..ya it is real simple. I am old and I drink "sometimes" so a RTT was not for me,,,the awning is a OVS 270 awning with their wall kit..built like a tank and very reasonably priced.

Funny I have been living in my Scamp T.T. for almost 12 years and "go" camping with less. :like::giggle::giggle: from Tent-Cot, tent or hammock and now a R.T.T. ?
That's awesome. I lived in my 18' trailer for 5 years. Folks thought I crazy, but it allowed me to save to buy a house. Maybe with a different setup like a Scamp 12 years, and a remote job so you can travel is doable.

How long does it take to set this up? I' see how it can be super helpful in colder weather, rain, and/or snow, but it makes me wonder if the time to set up is worth the benefit.

takes about 10 minutes by myself and probably half that if Wifezilla is with me..not hard at all as it zips in and the stakes are probably the longest to set up..and you don't need them all the time...only if it is going to be real windy gives a great changing room and someplace to get in if the weather turns

Sometimes you got to follow the saying in "Point Break" just cut away. Not a option for many people such as ones attached to place or people. Alot easier for some former military that have PCS and/ or deployed many times.

Yes
That WaterPort looks like a competitor to the Yakima.

I am leaning towards something like that with a pop up shower/changing room.
You don't need a whole kitchen setup, but proof of concept:

Jeep Bash, Bolsa Chica,
Went to Bolsa Chica Beach to attend the Jeep Bash 2022. Stayed a couple nights at the Garden Grove Elks. Turned out to be a great location to stay. Saturday was steak night at the Lodge. Thanks to the Garden Grove Elks for the hospitality!

One thing that I am having a hard time deciding on is a portable shower/tent combo. Everything I find seems to have mixed reviews. Anyone have one they have had for a while that they like and isn't leaking? I was even looking into those Yakima ones but it looks like they are not much more reliable even though they are very expensive
We had one of those folding "privacy" tent/changing room bought off AMZN for about $20. It worked the first few times, but then the formed rods ended up bending from being folded up so it's basically worthless.

After watching Trail Recon, I suggested to my wife one of those tents (not the Nemo), so we now have a new tent to try out next year. It's a Kelty privacy tent with an external frame. It's a little heavy, but it should be more useful/stable than what we had.

I have to build out my compact propane water heater setup for the shower still.

The wife and I plus the sisters in-laws at Parker Lake in South East Arizona. 2 nights and then one night in Las Cienegas NCA on the way home. It was a much quieter night, other than the cows, but we did camp in their back yard.

That is what I hope to get down the line a small travel trailer to tow or something along those lines
I bought this new Tab 400 in Pennsylvania and towed back to Mississippi. Getting 12mpg in the mountains and 14 on the flat ground. Pulse great

Quick overnight in Moose River Plains this past weekend.
How do you like the bed tent? I'm considering a similar setup. I'd likely only be spending a night or 2 at a time in it, but I'm not 25 anymore so I need something a least a little bit comfy.
