your issue is exact same that happened to me. I did the disconnect of the negative terminals and it was fine after 10 min. I just left the aux battery lead off and bypassed it, turned start/stop off. No issues since.Sounds like a different issue. When mine did this I could not start the truck even holding the fob to the start button. I have since replaced the aux battery due to other issues with stop/start that were resolved with the new aux battery.
I think the advice to disconnect both negative aux terminals for about 10 minutes to fully reboot the computer is a good one.
