So is the “JL” application in the OP a typo? Or are you valving these for the JL and just figuring it’ll work for the JT
Now that's funny right there!

You know that front part number covers 2door JL all the way up to diesel JT....A huge sway in steer axle weights and spring rates. Premium shock should have premium performance.

You know their application guide shows same front shock part for a Chevy K1500-K3500? V6 1500 standard cab and Crewcab long bed Duramax 3500.......Same thing more or less......close enough......

One size fits all........If it fits, it ships!

That IS a typo. I copied and pasted from the marketing document, my mistake. The JT part numbers are valved specifically for the JT.

It appears the front part numbers for the resi 2.0's and 3.0's are different for JT/JL, but the part numbers for 2.0 and 2.5 Elite are the same? So I could be partially correct and incorrect in this situation?

If the valving is JT specific in this new offering and it's good, I'll be thankful for that detail. Our trucks that actually get used are deserving of correct damping. I understand however that it needs to fit most buyers.

These are relatively cheap shocks in comparison to the race series. $250 a piece vs 8-1200 a corner.

I am assuming since I’m not seeing it on the JKS or fox site that these are Not rebuildable? - can someone confirm?
reason Iam asking- if they are rebuildable I’m sure a phone call to fox with front/rear axle weights, they could give you the shim stack combo needed to match the weight. Obviously, if they are not rebuildable, it is what it is…. Still likely a significant upgrade to the 2.0’s. ? just my keyboard warrior opinion ?

These are rebuildable. Waiting on R&D to get me the spec sheet on these. All great questions, guys.

I can answer that.........

They will bolt on and function, but they will not be as good as they "could" be. There is no way a manufacturer can offer up a "one tune fits all spring rate and axle weight" in one part number unless it has that much adjustability built in. These aren't adjustable so they will be a compromise which may or may not be acceptable to the end user.

Gotcha. Thanks that’s helpful. Looks like I’m still on the hunt

Depending on how picky you are about how your stuff drives, you may have to pony up and get something custom tuned. I have not found anything out of the box that really works well for the extra 300lb steer axle weight the diesel has and the spring rate required to support it.

For the money, the Fox performance series is pretty darn good for all the applications I have installed. I would never buy a shock that's not easily serviceable ever again after the road I've been down the past few years..

And yet we still don't have a JT Gladiator diesel specific lift from you guys!

What's the problem with the 2.5 elites? Same underlying shock as Mojave uses?
Were you not a participant in my tuning thread? 16 pages of how bad they were out of the box and what I did you fix it.

I also remember the Mojave being in internal bypass shock yes?
