I'm finding the same thingNo works been crazy and the dealerships near me have been booked up. I’ve tightened all bolts and checked for play. I’m leaning towards a tire issue or steering damper. It’s weird it seems to happen more when it’s colder out.
No. Did you have someone start the engine and move the steering wheel back and forth. While you was looking at the tie rod ends?Should there be any play in the drag link and tie rod? I can move both a little when under truck
I’m going to try this tomorrowNo. Did you have someone start the engine and move the steering wheel back and forth. While you was looking at the tie rod ends?
I’ll give it a try thanksLift the front end on jacks. Move everything by hand. Rock wheels in all four directions. Look what is actually moving.
For checking ball joints. Lift the tire off the ground by the axle. Put a long pry bar under the tire and lift up. Have someone looking at the ball joints to see how much movement there is.I’ll give it a try thanks
I’ve noticed this. When I leave they’re down around 29/30 and while driving they get up to 32. When there below 32 is when the dw is the worseCheck your tire pressures on those cold mornings before driving if you don't find any loose suspension parts. Tires loose pressure when cold
My TJ would go crazy in the winter on geos because of a few pounds of air. Solid axle vehicles have some tendencies that will drive one crazyI’ve noticed this. When I leave they’re down around 29/30 and while driving they get up to 32. When there below 32 is when the dw is the worse
