All,
This happened twice this weekend. The power steering pump basically turned off for 10 seconds mid-corner.
Mine is a 2022 Sport S ecodiesel
It has 38" tires
Power steering pump is warm to the touch not hot when this happens
Fluid level is between low and full
Ambient temps between 50-60 degrees. Both times it was after 1 hour or so of driving maybe more.
Battery voltage was 14.2 as I was decelerating both times.
No loose connections on the pump
Downpipe doesnt have the wiring harness touching
Nothing out of the ordinary EXCEPT it does say start stop not ready no matter what I do. It does NOT say start stop unavailable. I usually have the button pushed with my tazer this is the only item I could find.
Most TSB on steering is relating to the older models with aluminum gearboxes.
