The driver can’t drive. He ran off the road again while he was following the morvair out of there. Scary.

I worry that he was concussed, as he ran off the road again at the end of the video. The driver can’t drive. He ran off the road again while he was following the morvair out of there. Scary.
Very possible yesI worry that he was concussed, as he ran off the road again at the end of the video.
Interestingly enough…I noticed a correlation between my (early on) CEL + engine sputtering and babying the engine. Once I started getting on it a bit, the CEL’s stopped. Could be completely unrelated, but I’ll take it, lol.I baby my gladiator and it breaks down on me. That guy rolls his into a ditch and they just flip er over, fire it up, and drive it back down the trail. I'm so confused.
Not necessarily true. If oil leaks past the rings or pools in the intake it can hydro lock the engine. This in turn can bend a rod or worse. Best habit when firing a motor up after a prolonged time on the roof is to pull the plugs and turn over. Stand back as it’s a mess. This of course is a royal PIA for the 3.6.To all worried about the oil: shoot, that stuff is like water just give it 20 seconds and it will have drained down!
Is it a pain because the one near the firewall? Can you give a little more detail why it is a PIA.pull the plugs and turn over. Stand back as it’s a mess. This of course is a royal PIA for the 3.6.
Half the plugs require part of the intake manifold to be removed. Is it a pain because the one near the firewall? Can you give a little more detail why it is a PIA.
Yeah, it is a lot of plugs hoses etc. until you get manifold off to get to the right side. Would not love doing it on the trail, also with a dirty engine bay, but it is doableHalf the plugs require part of the intake manifold to be removed.
Was more a joke about how thin the oil is these days. It was hard to tell in the edit how long they had it upright before starting it.Not necessarily true. Back in my XJ days this was a monthly occurrence for my buggy. But I often would bother unless it didn’t turn over as it was a strictly trail rig.
The way he talked, reacted to question and acted, I agree, he probably had a concussion. Hope he is welldefinitely off about that driver. He shouldn’t have been out there.
