I'm not a regular cab fan but I can appreciate the work that went in to it. What really impresses me is that quadratec green though. I literally had just told the wife yesterday jeep needs a metallic emerald green, and seeing this one just confirms it.

I would have bought a two door over a four door had it been available. Not everyone wants/needs a family/crew truck. I may represent a smaller target market for Jeep, but add in open bed service /delivery economy fleet vehicles and it is a large market that would purchase two door trucks.

Yes, there is a market and Quadratec has the right idea with using the 4Xe. CAFE is the reason for the demise of the small 2 door short bed pickup.

That's a good read, thanks for posting. I knew there were more reasons to dislike the PT Cruiser :) Joking aside, I wondered why the small truck took so long to come back. I like my mid-size for my usage, but everyone of my family that lives in the 'burbs or on mini-ranches covet the little Chevy Luv type trucks for their utility.
I still have my '95 S10 ZR2, regular cab with the short 6 foot bed, but the young people consider the bed to be a long bed. It's a great little utility truck for outdoor work. With the topper on it, it makes into a nice little camper as well. A little jeep pickup like quadratecs JTe or Mopars J6 concept would be a great replacement for my 27 year old pickup.

Cool truck but I was out after the kilt and flip flops showed up. So professional. ?
That guy also built Q-Tecs TJL
He is a great builder, but IMHO kind of a whack job.

I'd totally rock that 2 door.

I understand the 4xE craze…especially at SEMA, but…I’ll take it with the new Hurricane motor. Also, too many accent colors for my liking. Bronze wheels, blue E stuff, white roll bar… all on emerald green. Since it’s aimed at trail clean ups, I may have stuck with the green and some white steelies to match the roll bar and ditch whatever is going on with the grille. But, I’m super picky and it’s not my Jeep, so rock on in your kilt. ?
