Extended warranty deals

Kudos where Kudos are due. I just processed a Mopar extended warranty via Tom. The process was painless and the pricing was substantially better than what the local dealerships quoted.

UPDATE - purchased on Dec 28th. The hard copy of all documents received in the mail Jan 4th. Pretty impressive with the new year holiday in the mix.

Just wanted to pass along a shout out of thanks for this thread. Just picked up a new to me 2020 Gladiator Rubicon with just over 12,000 miles. Bought from a non-Jeep dealership, though they have one in their family if locations, they were only offering their own (non-Mopar) and wouldn't negotiate on the price. Checked with our Credit Union and reached out to Tom - had my new policy within a day from Tom; 8-Year 100k $1935.

Same here. Emailed him for a quote, 30 minutes later it was a done deal, all paid for, had all the paperwork electronically, about half the price of my local selling dealer. Strongly recommends Tom ??

How many of you went with 85k vs. 100k?
How many went with $100 deductible vs. $200 deductible?

Difference in mileage is about $700 for me.
Difference in deductible is about $325 for me.

I know it's subjective, but just looking at options. I'll probably average less than 10k a year, so the 85k/$200 ded for $1400 is looking pretty good. 100k is just over 2k for $200 ded.

Curious what your logic is/was on this?

I went the 100 route being it was built in 2019

Another great experience with Tom. My local dealerships ghosted me. Tom replied immediately and we closed on a deal in less than 24hrs. Thanks to y'all for passing the word and I'll do the same.

I actually need to reach back out to tom and see about maybe another warranty when this one expires at 100k. No idea of its even possible but he’s the fella to ask.

I'm currently shopping for a (replacement) Gladiator and was wondering if anyone knew of any situations to stay clear from when say purchasing the Mopar warranty through Tom. I read earlier that a Canadian jeep would be a no go, what about after market modifications or other circumstances that could affect potential warranty coverage? Any info is appreciated!

It's only a problem if you live in one of the few states that don't allow warranty purchases from out of state dealers.

Vehicles only get warranty coverage if they stay in the market they were originally produced for (USA in USA, Canada in Canada).

Any modifications to the vehicle can affect warranty coverage for the area modified. A Mopar lift, if dealer installed, is the only one that usually is not a problem.
