I made it 4 days ..... I picked up my new '22 JTR Gobi on December 7th and took a rock to the windshield on December 11th that created a nice ~8" crack in the Gorilla Glass.

Fortunately my insurance has $0 deductible glass coverage, so I've already got my second windshield. Let's see if I can make it a few weeks with this one?!?!?

@JW Jeep - I did see your messages. I don't think this was a case of my own tires throwing up the rock as it happened in a highway construction zone in some reasonably heavy traffic. I am pretty sure the car in front of me threw the rock up.

When they were rebuilding Mexico Beach after the hurricane I quit replacing windshields due to all the construction debris. I took 5 hits in 3 months.

This week. Almost a year driving.
The tiniest chip that I had to get my bifocals just right to see and now a line running right down the middle behind the mirror.
Flat windshield seem to catch everything with Full force. I have had several small rocks thrown up in heavy traffic but no crack . Guess this one just hit right.

Under a week on the first. Now my second is just about due for a replacement but i'll wait for it to be REALLY bad before I do.

61,000 miles, two years and not a scratch.......

5.5 months and 5k miles got a chip/crack in LA on the wonderful I-5.

Yeah, mine cracks at least once every year, but insurance has taken care of it every time so far.

I get on average about 3 months before a crack, I think I get 5 windshields a year with Allstate but I like to see how far across the crack will go before I get it replaced
