You mean I do not need the Rubicon steel bumper (or the knock-offs I was looking at)!!???

This is brilliant!

I have a quick question as someone new to Jeeps. Whyd you go with the plastic bumper and winch plate vs a steel bumper? I have a plastic bumper but worried it won't hold up or might get in the way of my 35s when flexing. Definitely cheaper to keep the plastic bumper so if it holds up I might just order the mount...

Doubt it would get in way of 35s.

33s, not lifted, wheel slightly turned to the right - lots of room. 35s add only 1 more inch to this -

But you could always use SPACERS to move the bumper forward just a bit.

I like mine a lot.

This just shows there are options and bumper swaps are not a "must" - some will want to skip the bumper, some won't.
That's what's cool about these. Options, personalizing them, etc.

I like the bumper, it is a very light , low cost option you still need a winch plate with factory steel bumper. I was driven by weight also, hence why I went with a small drum winch that all in weighed 54lbs., there are pretty many guys that have all done it differently, with different winches, and very similar outcomes, all are very low profile……Jack

I get your point. And if going with the Mopar steel bumper, yes, you need to buy a lot of separate parts... But the knock-off comes with everything, winch plate and all... for US$410.00

But then, there is the extra weight...

I forgot to mention they are a bit wider and stick out from the fender about 1". 35x12.5x18. Also I can move the fenders?
