Waiting to hear back about my issue. I know it’s only been a day, but I had sent an email over the weekend with no response, so I called earlier and he said to send an email with pics, so I sent another one. Just want to get it shipped back so I can get a replacement.

In the same boat was asked to send an email with pics and waiting to hear back from them. I have the Jscan components on order but would like for them to be able to have a resolution to my issue since it supposedly is not needed.

Well I got the short end of the stick: one of the units is permanently aimed upwards. The adjustment screw does nothing ?
Good morning!

I am truly sorry to hear about the frustration.

We do have a video regarding aiming our Elite Series headlights:

However, if this isn't helpful and the aiming mechanism is defective.

I'd advise contacting our customer service team for assistance regarding resolving this issue or a hassle-free replacement!

does the yellow match? I have the elite max fogs and I know it's an off amber.
Our Elite Series headlights include an amber halo on the Elite and amber halo and DRL bars on the Elite Max model.

The backlight on our Stage Series LED pods and Elite Series fogs are amber but the main beam is a true 3000k selective yellow!

@WarMouth, mines tight against air filter box also. I didn’t notice until aiming them. I may pull the box again and put something around wires.
Thank you for this feedback.

We're taking matters seriously and have immediatly brought in a JT Gladiator in-house for our enginnering team to throughly review at this time.

For members experiencing issues with function, we are investigating these reports now as our top priority.

It's apparent that J-Scanning is a solution for some members but our engineering team is working on a fix to assure these are a true plug-and-play option @WarMouth for all Jeep JT Gladiators. We should have a resolution soon!

If you have an ongoing issue with your lamps, please go ahead and give us a call at 314-205-3033 Monday-Friday 10 a.m.- 5 p.m. CST, or shoot us an email at [email protected], and our service team will be more than happy to assist you.

Thank you all for your patience and understanding at this time. If you have any additional questions, I'll be more than happy to help!

Darkhorse13 is right. Everything except offroad worked on mine until I hooked up the red tap a fuse and blue wire correctly. How bright are your offroad lights? I guess I expected it to be a lot brighter.
With our Elite Max model, the off-road mode illuminates LED on the top and bottom reflectors to shine light in a widespread for extra illumination while off-roading.

Yep, will be getting a replacement shipped out soon. Your RMA model is great.

Probably too late to redesign, but it seems like if the back plate were mirrored for driver vs. passenger just like OEM, that might resolve this. Because it would put the plug on the passenger side in a much more breathable area.

Just completed my Elite (not max) Headlight install. As for the fit up against the air box... i dunno. I'm finding it difficult to imagine this product was prototyped or even test fit on a gladiator. It's more than tight, i think the wires are crushed and the airbox is slightly flexing to accommodate. I have a hard time imagining anyone designing this product saw that fit and thought "yea, that's good enough!"

If these didn't have an 8 year warranty I think i might have a difficult decision as to whether or not to return them. But i have to imagine if this overly tight "fit" is going to cause a failure it would happen long before the 8 year mark so I guess i'm keeping them.

No issues with flicker, DRLs, or turn signals, but i also have only seen them in daytime so the night test and aiming comes later.

Any pics of them on and working? And did your vehicle have halogen headlights before? I'm actually interested in the base (non-max) versions as well. Bummer that these seem to be having so many issues, seems common with aftermarket light manufacturers anymore...

Any images of the fit against the airbox? I still have mine boxed up. Was hoping to hear that these issues were resolved or uncommon. Sadly, it sounds like that's not the case.....

I'll get some pics up within the next day or so after I have them tested at night and aimed. Yes, i went from Halogens to DDElites. Other than fit, i have not experienced any of the issues anyone else has, and seeing as I don't have jscan or a tazer, i'm happy about that so far.

As for expectations for headlight issues... DD is pretty much supposed to be the best of the best by reputation. I certainly didn't drop $680 on headlights thinking I was taking a risk. That being said... that 8 year warranty does alleviate a lot of my concerns... but there's also a reason I'm keeping the factory housings in a box in my basement.

Not a lot of room to see but that's the best angle I could get.

I changed my mind and went out to take pics. Keep in mind LEDs and camera don't mix well, so any oddities are not with the headlight, just a hz discrepancy.

@Diode Dynamics should folks be waiting to install given the fitment issue with the air box? If it’s already “tight”, then flexing will cause rubbing over time and ultimately result in failure. I’ve been contemplating a different intake for other reasons, but just wondering if we should expect any design change or fix.

Good afternoon!

I've just addressed this concern to our engineering team after bringing in multiple Gladiators to our testing bay in the last 2 weeks here at our HQ.

According to our team,

"Fitment is tight against the air box, however does not prevent it from being installed for safe operation. If more room is desired a customer could loosen the (2) air box bolts on the fender, push the air box back from the headlight and retighten the bolts simultaneously".

I hope this information is helpful. If you have any additional questions, I will forward them to the correct department!
