Which clutch?

I'll probably need a new clutch soon. 70k miles and starting to teach my son how to drive a manual. Do I go back with no feel, Mopar? Centerforce or x-force?
Real world experience is appreciated.

I like South Bend Clutch. They fabricate a solid center plate that doesn't warp or crack. Also you don't need a replacement, super heavy flywheel.

Either the JP5-HDSS or JP6-HDSS would be great. Personally I like the heavier flywheel of the JP6 even in stock applications.

It's xclutch, not x-force. I'm liking the jp6 with flywheel. Just not the price tag, but it may be necessary and worth it.

Ok, I'll bite since you posted ha! I wasn't aware of your product.

How would this compare to the newer Centerforce options that now also include upgraded hydraulic components? Seems like they took their time and came up with a complete solution on this platform.

It wouldn't be fair to my friends at Centerforce to get into a comparison. I know we both faced challenges in our clutch development for the JL/JT. It appears Centerforce chose to adapt the JK hydraulics into the JL/JT. We worked very hard to get the 11" ACT clutch to be efficient enough to work with the stock hydraulics. I will be sharing detailed information about clutch design in the future that will benefit anyone wanting to understand all about clutches.

Our clutch is priced about the same as the stock Jeep parts, except you can resurface our flywheel if needed later on, which saves over $700, since the stock dual mass is a replacement only item.
