Drop the windshield, fold it down. The thing is sticking out there like a jib sail.
That will not only reduce wind resistance but it will also prevent your windshield from ever getting chips from flying road debris. Your insurance company will thank you.
If you do that, you must take off the roof as otherwise it will act like a big ice cream scoop in the air and you could go flying off the road if you head here and hit a good 50 mph gust.
I also suggest if you do both, to duck. Bumble bees are not fun to get hit with in the face and they, along with wasps, are out in force.

Nice! For sure, aerodynamic's, perfect reason to fold the windshield down and take the top off so air can flow freely right through cab of JT. Man I'm getting some great ideas here. If I do them all, no reason to believe I can't achieve 20 mpg on 37's, just got to stay away from Taco Bell drive throughs. Those Taco Bell's hit your gas mileage more than any other thing.

You have to keep the doors on when you do it though, otherwise the air flowing in the sides onto your legs will drop your efficiency at least .3% or so. Or shave your legs, it helps swimmers I think....

Good point on keeping the doors on, noted. I'll have to setup a appointment for the legs, I'm more a Laser guy, you pay more up front but it last a lot longer.

Have legs waxed and polished, or, what the heck, sit in your truck while they ceramic coat the truck and let them do your legs.

Even better, two birds one stone. I'll use the money saved for other mods

To help with aero. Get some large pieces of cardboard and duct tape to the underside of your JT. You want the bottom to be smooth so that the air flow can't hit anything. This should help you pick up a couple of 0.0009% of mpg.

Just wait for summer blended fuel to come out. You’ll gain so much more than the winter blend. We are already running summer blend up here in Calgary and I now see 2 L/100 increase. You can go back to waiting in the drive through and feel good about it!??

On the Dodge Viper, it can't be changed or filled.
Lest anyone think I'm joking or that I have not yet moved forward in April, away from the 1st -

Well. technically, I can't see how it's to do with "blinkers", but it's a level inside the headlight assembly.

That's why my JT seems to be doing better.
That, and the fact we went directly from 20 degrees to 85 degrees this week.
No, I am not sharing our warm air with you like you share your cold air with us. Sorry, gonna be selfish.

Ok, radical idea to improve your fuel mileage. Engine swap. I hear you can pick up a Smart car engine for next to nothing. Swap should be pretty easy. You'll have so much more space in the engine compartment, less weight, think of all the accessories you can mount under the hood now.

Let me come pick up your premium soft-top out of the garage and that is good for a few more MPGs
