Will do... and thanks for the tip. So, is the tape necessary (or at least a good idea) just to hold it in place until you get the SunRider installed - or is it needed permanently? Just wondering if I should use painters tape for the temporary fix - or Gorilla Tape for something more permanent. I have both.
Tape just during install - covered in the instructions. Once set up, the tension on the wire holds the z-clip in place.

anyones hinge pin rub/hook under that door rail? Just put mine on and the drivers side pin is catching the lip of the door rail on the way up and down.

I just got mine installed the other day. When folded it doesn’t want to settle itself into the weather rails neatly, it also makes a slight popping/flapping sound above 45mph. Any advice?

I finally felt well enough after my bout with COVID to get mine assembled and installed yesterday and yes... mine is doing the same thing... a light rubbing on the left door rail when opening/closing the top. I mounted the door rails to the rest of the top before installing the whole assembled unit on the Jeep (per the instructions). Prior to that, when I was installing the door rails to the rest of the top (man, those Z-clips were a PITA) - the bolt holes on the right/passenger-side rail did not line up properly. I was able to get the bolts installed without cross-threading them, but just barely. When I installed the whole assembled unit on my Jeep, the front pin & clamp on that same side door rail did not fit as well as the driver's side... I sort of had to force it on a bit in order to get the bolt to line up properly to install it. Then I discovered the same issue as you... a little rubbing on the driver's side rail door rail when raising/lowering the top. I even loosened all of the bolts again after installing it to see if it would shift around at all to try fix the rubbing, but no dice. It doesn't BUDGE. So, I tightened everything back up and called it a day. Otherwise, the top as a whole seems to fit properly. No weird wrinkles in the fabric when closed or anything like that. That light rubbing on the left door rail when opening/closing the top is the only issue. It's a little concerning, but probably no big deal. I just feel like maybe mine wasn't built exactly right - which is disappointing given how expensive these are - like maybe the weirdness on the right side is causing the whole unit to be pushed toward the driver's side just slightly - causing that rub. Just a guess.

@Bestop , is this something you've heard of happening before? Is this something I should be concerned about?

I also have one latch that’s “tighter” than the other. Wondering if that’s how they all are. I don’t see a way to adjust the “loose” one.

mine does that too. It’s a weird knocking sound and I can’t figure out where it’s coming from.

@Raven65 I have not but I took a screenshot and copied the link to this thread and sent it to my Quality Manager to get more insight. I'll post again once I hear back!
I'm glad to hear you're feeling better too!

Thanks! BTW, I just drove my Jeep during lunch and opened/closed the top and it's now rubbing a little worse in that area than it was yesterday afternoon right after installing it. I'd be happy to provide photos/videos if that would be helpful to your Quality Manager. Just let me know.

I dont think so, I bought it brand new and they didnt break when I installed it. Don’t know how to check the part that is inside the rail without taking them back out
When open look at the very back of the top near the rain rail.
You may have to lift up the top a bit to see of they are still intact.

If they are broke, you will know it.

They dont tend to break on install, but when you close it.
And not always the first time, it can take a number of times before they break.

Just checked and they are intact. The top does have a few wrinkles in it.
