They look nice for a reasonably priced tire, but I would like to know how they hold up. The fact that they offer no tread warranty bothers me some. Thanks in advance.

Good question for @Jeeperjamie (if I’m not mistaken)

I’ve heard others with good things to say as well, especially in snow. I have no first hand experience with the tire though.

They are amazing tires. Honestly I'd out them right up there with BFG KO2's. I got right 40,000 miles on mine and they have done well in mud, rain and the little bit of ice and snow we get in my area. They really shine in the rain though, I've always been a BFG Ko2 guy but the Kanati's are better in the rain honestly and better in mud than the KO2. The only thing that's different about then really is once you get about 30,000+ miles on them they are a little louder than the KO2's. My Last 6 sets of new tires were the BFG KO2'S before I decided to try the Kanati's. Always wanted to give them a shot and when I got a set for $1000 mounted I couldn't turn it down. The only reason why I'll not get another set is because I got on that Walmart deal about a month ago and got a set of Geolanders for $1078 when they would of been $2000. Unless I just fall inove with the Geolanders I'll be back to Kanati's once they wear out. I honestly got nothing but good things to say about them.

How many miles can I expect to get out of them with regular rotation? Is 40,000 about it? I've read where one guy got 70,000 (though I don't expect to get anywhere near that). Beautiful rig, BTW.

I am at 40,000 now and I probably can get another 6000 to 7000 miles out of them on a 4 tire rotation. That's rotating them every 8,000 miles at my oil change. That's right in line with the BFG KO2's and most tires that fall into this category I've ran.

Ain't nobody getting 70,000 miles on a 4 tire rotation and it would be hard to get that on a 5 tire rotation.

I rolled my eyes when I read that also. Never heard of that kind of mileage from an all terrain. You've been a big help. Thanks.

@Jeeperjamie, what brand of front bumper do you have? I've been looking at several and really like the looks of that one. Thanks

Can you measure your tread depth for us please? I too have only run KO2’s and im am at 60k kms (37k miles). I’ve done my 4 tire rotation every 7k kms (4300 miles).

I like the looks of yours and KO2’s suck in the mud. We have lots of ice on the highways up here in Alberta’s winter but if you throw weight in the back and air down to 30 - 32, you’re good.

My tread depth is at 8mm.

I put them on at 29,112 miles and I got 70,099 miles on the JT as of the typing on this message. Almost 41,000 miles on the Kanati's and I'm at 8mm roughly as well. 4 tire rotation rotated every 8,000-9,000 miles except for the first one which went longer because I had just had them installed when I had the oil changed at the dealership. So the first rotation was at like the 10,300 mark and then every 8,000,-9,000 after that. Yeah if you like the KO2's and trust me I'm still a fan of KO2's but the Kanati is a all around better tire. I'd say the feel of the KO2 might be a slightly more comfortable ride but not by much. I think the better in the Mud and rain that you get from the Kanati and the fact that they are cheaper makes the Kanati a better purchase IMO. Like I said earlier I would be buying another set if I hadn't got such a good price on the Geolanders during the Walmart pricing deal

I think the fact that the Kanati is a Hybrid tire and the lugs are spaced out a little wider than the KO2's, that's probably the reason for the them being better in the mud and rain.

Edit: also I run them at 33 to 34 psi. I ran the 35 inch Ko2 at the same psi for reference.

Yup, looks like we wear the same. I have this summer and fall on them and need to get new again late fall. Lots of time to research.

Wife and I did some mudding…once, when we got the KO2’s new, spring of 21. KO2’s suck in the mud.

Yep they don't sip well at all. The Kanati is a hybrid tire so your gonna get that better mud performance. The Kanati still want match a true M/T but a true M/T isn't gonna give you that great on road performance your gonna get from a Hybrid or A/T. There is give and take for sure. Mines a daily and I like to have a comfortable ride.

I know you didn't ask, but a sister tire to the Kanati is the Deluim. Lesser know but great reviews and awesome tires. When I compared Kanati/Delium... the Delium won out for me... purchased 5 and love them.
This is where I purchased them:

Motor Trend did a write-up of the Delium M/T.

What was the deciding factor, just curious, I've heard Delium was a good tire but a couple guys local who are running them on Toyota's said they preferred the Kanati in the mud over the Delium. I'm assuming since they aren't a true Hybrid like the Kanati AT-4 they don't do so well at Sipping in the Mud. I've never had a set but have heard they are very similar to the Kanati AT-4 in how it rides on the road.
