So Bestop sent you a kit of parts and you re-strung the cable(s) through your top?
Yes. Under warranty as one cable broke. The kit actually includes new side frame pieces as well for some reason. I didn’t complain. :) new cables, new springs, etc. everything you need to do it. I did it on the living room floor. :)

I assume the new side frames were because of the bolted cable end vs the Z-clip design, no?.
Bigger hole, no slot on the back. different location, or is it the same?

Did they send any instructions on how to install the new cable?
If so, can you post them?

I never could figure out why they always replaced the whole sunriders when the z-clips broke.
I figured there had to be a way to put a new cable in.

They provided DETAILED instructions. The rails seemed the same, but probably hole size or location. They provided everything, including replacement foam in a spot it needed to be removed to expose some screws. I did toss the instructions, but it’s easy-ish.

I read through this thread and didn't see a definitive answer as to whether or not the design has changed going forward? I only saw the OP had the new fasteners. Subsequent posts said theirs showed up with z clip.

I do believe it’s changed, but maybe they still have stock. Just a guess.
