@JeepCares I've been trying every avenue available to me to try to get answers, but it seems the highest level of communication Jeep is capable of is an automated non-answer reply that takes 2 weeks to receive.

Amazing to see a company of this scope doesn't seem to employ anyone who has the remotest idea of what is going on.

I call my dealer, they tell me Jeep doesn't really give them info, and to try reaching out to them directly. I get in touch with any subdivision at Jeep and I'm told to "get in touch with my dealer".

I didn't buy a $10 toy car. I committed to a $60k PLUS purchase and the customer service I have experienced has been abyssmal.
I’m in the same boat as you guys. Amazed at the total lack of communication. I got the exact circular communication. When I placed my order I was told by the dealership that I would get my gladiator in 8 to 12 weeks, maybe less. 12 weeks passed by yesterday.
I was okay with the original timeline. I would be okay with waiting a bit longer, just tell me when. I pushed out a lot of things I need to do that requires a truck. I sent the dealership a text this morning, basically that I need to know something soon, that I can’t wait indefinitely. If I don’t find out something, even though I really want this truck, I’m going to look for a Chevy 1500 with a Durimax, and get my deposit back.

If our 6MT orders are any indication, you are going to be waiting a lot longer for the diesels to go back into production. I was told 8-12 weeks as well. I'm sure I won't have it 7/1 so that will be 5 months at that point and who knows if I will have a production date by then. Jeep doesn't seem to know. This is a long time to be kept in the dark. I hope the diesels don't sit this long. Hopefully its just because so few of us order the 6MT anyway. Diesel has more demand so hopefully they are pushing harder on that one.

I just got a reply from the sales manager that he’s reaching out to a FCA representative, and as soon as he hears something, he’ll let me know. I’m not holding my breath.

My dealer tried that 2 weeks ago and never got any useful information out of the rep either. Not surprising though.

My March 6th JTRD order is still marked in production on both tracking sites but delivery date has now gone negative to -4 days ?. Info from the dealer shows it's built and sitting at the Toledo rail yard, likely waiting for the hpfp.

Same boat here. Ordered Mine 8 Mar and went into production on 12 Apr...... then recall came out. My JTURD was done with shops (Bedliner etc) by 18 Apr....and has been in JS status since. Awaiting HPFP fix since they cant sell us a new vehicle with an open safety recall. Just means I use the extra money I'm not spending on a monthly payment to buy all the items that are going on there anyway lol. Focus on the things we can control :). would have been nice to have over the summer, but it will be OK. + I'm price protected and locked into my 8 Mar pricing.

Yeah I'm in the same boat, have a tonneau cover and 35s in the garage already. I'm also price protected as mine is considered a sold sale right now. A few days before the recall came out my dealer had me come in to do all the official paperwork in order to get it queued nearer to the front of the fix line.

After plenty of deliberation, i finally have an update for y'all: At this point. I'm sitting at 6 months; still no truck, nor even a promise of a truck. I've been to the dealer 3 times, no answers, no idea.

So, I called Jeep directly and had to fight with them. Jeep had to hunt to even FIND my order which I was told was getting kicked up to a higher level and to expect a phone call.

Needless to say, no call. No answers, no time frame, no truck. So at this point, I'm pulling my deposit and definitely letting them know I'm buying a Toyota Taco instead. Because as it turns out, people are actually getting those. With a 6 speed manual to boot! Well done Stallantis... you've turned away another die hard Jeep fan with your crap.

Honestly? They may as well just axe the whole damn brand if they just don't care, which it clearly seems to be the case. And with the seemingly never ending slew of recalls across the brand... eh... it's put a sour taste in my mouth. I want something built well. So I'll be in a Toyota. With more options, features, bells and whistles and at 8 grand cheaper.

Side note; I'll also be keeping my 18 year old bulletproof TJ. Because they just don't build them like that any more.

Yea at this point I’m starting to feel the same way. They really don’t care. They can’t even be bothered to give an explanation. I’m considering a 2024 Tacoma too actually. Also I think the TJ is the best jeep ever made.

Ah, I got a '23. The 24 is the 4th generation and I don't trust first year reimaginings. That and i don't want a 4 cylinder. Not in a pickup.
So, I got about a month to wait now. Taco already is built and actually exists. Now it's just a logistics wait to get it. And is even a 6 speed manual!
Best part about it is I got the Toyota version of the Rubicon, so way more options than what Jeep will let you have with a manual Gladiator.

Im curious as to what kind of options. Other than max tow, what can you not get with the manual JT that you can with the auto or that you can with the Tacoma? I ask because I was shocked that you could put frontal collision avoidance and adaptive cruise control on manual JT and JLs and people who have them report that that they like it. Apparently it works quite well. It waits for you to shift at the appropriate times to resume speeds. Pretty wild that they bothered to make that an option for a transmission that has a take rate of less than 5% and even less when optioned with the advanced safety package.

In other news I got an email from jeep that mine is “sequenced for production” and while I have no idea what exactly that means it’s better than no update like it’s been for the last 4.5 months

It offers higher towing capacity, dual climate control, moonroof, a/c bed outlet, upgraded offroad suspension, fog lights, leather, power windows, locking rear diff... for just a few. And those are all just standard. Yeah, Jeep offers all that stuff too, but you can't have a Rubicon with a stick. So you have to stick with what's available in the bare bones Sport trim.

I canceled my order, got my deposit back and have to wait a month for the Taco to arrive. Already built, so now it's down to logistics.
