Used yellow kapton tape over the halogen fogs for a while. Nice glow which didn't overwhelm the headlights, great as marker lights for the oncoming traffic, helped a little bit to the sides. Moved to "amber" BD SAE fogs. Had to add some yellow tape to take out some of the green. Almost brighter than the headlights; I wouldn't want them much brighter in the foreground for fear of losing night vision. As wide as the headlights, but not wider. Good fill to the sides, but DD would be wider still. Zero interference with GMRS, FM, AM, satellite radios.

Diode Dynamics selective yellow superior to stock no matter what color you make the stock lights. The pattern is better, light output and quality is better.
Like has been posted here and about - stock fog lights are "get by" fog lights. They don't waste money on making them good, just on making them there "yeah, I have fog lights".
My wife even commented on how much easier they made iffy-weather driving in the hilly winding roads through rural areas.
Can't make a sow's ear and more than it is other than changing color by literally filtering out some of the lumens.
I opted for truly better vision, not reduced light output through filters.
To make the stock lights great, you'd need to improve the pattern and use yellow LED bulbs.
Great lights always use the same color bulb as the lens or filter.

Got the lamin x on my stock led fogs. They do have a bit of a greenish tinge, not pure yellow. I will see how it goes. I don’t feel like dropping $400.

And you now still have crappy fog lights with reduces luminosity and effectiveness.
So you are trading color for less effect, lights that barely qualified as fog lights anyway are now reduced.

Just trying to present options. And I found that too much light in the foreground can get annoying.

Maybe I will buy yellow led bulbs. The beam pattern in my Oem LED lights is fine, which is usually the problem with putting led bulbs in halogen housing.

And another $30-$40
You can buy a sheet of film, enough for several layers. You just cut them out with scissors. In fact, you can put several layers together then cut them once. Works pretty well, and nobody goes around studying fog lights for wrinkles.
