Update on initial observations regarding coolant temps. It's been over 110-115* here in PHX and with the old grille, my coolant temps have been hovering around 215-219*. With the new grille my temps have stayed below 200* in stop and go traffic along with highway driving.

I know it's a small sample but so far so good.

Like others, I didn’t like it when I first saw it. But, it seems the more I see it, the better it looks. I don’t know if I like it enough to throw down near 800$. It seems there’re more functional mods to invest in… in the end, it looks good.

A 15-20* temperature swing is really good for zero effort; also great for performance and economy.

I really like the extra room around the winch. Speaking of, what winch mount/bumper is that you are running?

Post pictures of it when you get it installed, I've got a Stingrey JTRD and would love to see what it would look like.

Also interested in any additional cooling, keep us posted.
Will do!

It's just the Warn winch plate with D ring plates. Super minimalistic lol

Here’s another view of the cooling fins exposed now. This was totally covered in the previous grille.

Hmm... Not sure I'm good with THAT. We have enough random crap that bounces around on the roads around here, not sure I'd want that much exposure.

Would be interesting to see how much extra coverage there is with the Mopar steel bumper, and winch, as opposed to running without.

Did you have to ziptie the Warn cables to something else? Due to stock being so tight, and the grill having a bit of a flare out at the bottom, it almost acts as a channel for the cables, to the point my first zip isn't until the cables reach to the passenger side support. (Then they run basically parallel to the lights' cabling)

I didn't hate it when they debuted it and frankly if it gets more air through the radiator that's a bonus.

Wonder what it looks like in Hydro Blue...

I left my winch cables as is. I will probably find a hole in the frame portion to secure it now that the grill isn't pressing on it. The angle is kind of deceiving in picture you quoted. It's not exposed to incoming debris as my winch and plate are directly in front of it. I believe the oem plastic and steel bumpers will cover most of that. My setup is pretty bare so this isn't the norm.

Theres a guy on the FB Gladiator group that has a hydro blue with the new grille. It looks good IMO.

And here I was complaining that the black grill was too expensive and I should have ordered it when I built my JT. I'm hoping these dont stay 700+ bc I really like them and want one eventually

I will be installing it, on a black Mojave next weekend if all goes well. I’ve got the stubby factory steel bumper. I’ve got a new winch and and all the bits that will be installed the first weekend of Aug. I will post pics as I go.

Can’t wait to see it.

if I knew my JT was actually going to get built, I’d buy one.

Looked on eBay last night and there were 4 on there from the same seller. $750 + $63 shipping. Then you have to factor in paint.

You can buy a paint kit (primer/base/clear) from Scratches Happen for under $100 shipped. That's what I used to paint my dash panels; the color match was spot on. Again, this assumes your comfortable prepping and spraying it yourself.
