Thanks for you suggestions, I have the Jscan app and I cannot see any options to delete the speed limiter. I also have looked thorough all the Tazer options and it does not mention top speed delete!

Maybe the Banks tuner will do it?!

Hello Everyone,

Does anyone know how to disable the speed limiter of the Gladiator Eco diesel. (for off-road purposes) The truck tops out at 155kmph in 8 gear with 37's. We are doing some testing for a new product and need to reach speeds much higher than that.

PS- We have a private runway for testing.

Thanks,
We used to put in a switch wire at tail shaft sensor turn on and off but you won't have a speedo so download a speedo app on your phone

There is no tail shaft sensor. That's years ago. These don't use a VSS in the tail housing that sends a pulsed signal for a speedometer.
You would have to go into the configuration of the module and change the limit.
You can't delete it, only modify the speed and it's very possible these only have the ability to recognize a given range.

In my Rams I used Superchips to take care of that and a few other things after adding lift and 37s...

Thats a great suggestion. Can anyone with Superchips confirm this?

Who said 150MPH?!
Since this thread has been resurrected, and you're still looking for a way to defeat the limiter, I'm guessing your product never made it to production? Any hints what you were testing?

PS: if you set the tire size as low as you can with a Tazer/JScan etc (30" ??) your speedo will be off by about 17% (based on the 35.6" actual size of the hopefully 116S rated KO2 you have mounted)

This means when you hit 155kph you will actually be going about 181kph. As others mentioned, monitor actual speed with GPS for whatever testing youre doing
