Not sure why this is happening. Everything went smoothly. Got the oil reset to 100%:
Jeep Gladiator Changed my oil, reset the levels, but still getting message that oil change is overdue IQJj163

But every time I crank the truck, I get this message:
Jeep Gladiator Changed my oil, reset the levels, but still getting message that oil change is overdue i367WoL

Anyone know if there's something else I need to do? And I've hit "remind me later" a good 20 times.

That's different. Did you try to press the Bluetooh Call button and let it make the call to see if that resets it?

I have a feeling the oil change reset on the dash display really has nothing to do with what the radio is doing and the radio message is probably something pushed through the Uconnect service.

Yea I’ve never gotten that. But the PO didn’t sign up for any of the connect services ever. Without checking… the Jeep doesn’t have the Toyota/Mazda style reminder system in the head unit does it? Where you put in when you want to be reminded to rotate tires and change cabin air etc?

I use an old (from the ā€˜90s) technique for the dash, and it works every time for me - so far, at least. Turn on the ignition without starting the engine, pump the accelerator pedal three times fully, then turn the ignition off. Let it sit a minute or two, then start it. I’ve never had that fail to clear the notices on both of our Jeeps, as well as other brands from ā€˜93 forward. Not sure if it is really included in everything, but it’s always worked for me.

the UConnect notice? Not sure - let me do a bit more research…

I have not tried to call, but will if the message pops up again. I drove all weekend and don't recall the message popping up. Though to be honest, it's become such a part of the background I may not have noticed.

I've got the same problem. According to you last post, it sounds like the message may have went away after a few days without doing anything. Is that correct?
