JT exposed rear brake lines worry anybody else?

I am a new member a new to jeeps in general. I love my gladiator but one thing that has been bothering me is the location of the steel brake line near the rear wheel. It seems exposed enough that a rock thrown up by the wheel could damage it. I’m considering having an engineer friend of mine design a small deflector/guard for the are shown in the Picture. Just carouse if anybody has ever had issues with this?

I think it's very unlikely that rocks would sling up there. It's located near center of the wheels.

I got 83,650 miles on mine and I have been in everything mud Gravel, rock, mixed colluvium , loose blacktop, water, high grass, ragweed, cockel burrs , big rocks , hardtop etc... not a single issue and they still look just like they did when I bought it 3yrs ago in about 8 days .
