I like the front camera but do not consider it as essential, just nice to have.

Usually I rely on the Park Distance Control.

Maybe, if I would do more off road driving, I would see this different.

with how cheap cameras have become, they should be putting front and side trail cameras on our jeeps. Heck, even my cheap econobox Nissan rental comes with a front cam and birdseye view for parking

I agree it is a valuable accessory. Compared to the competition the gladiator has a relatively low hood line and good visibility but even so it is useful to have that e-spotter on hand.
