Greetings
New Here and New to Engines.
I recently have been having some troubles with my 2020 Jeep Gladiator Sport S. Transmission fluid change. Oil change every 5k. Never go over 2RPM best I can. I do drive a lot and have 80k on the mileage but I’m worried the engine may be failing.
Poor changes in gear 1-3 that is harsh and clunky. Revs in certain gears like it’s stuck in them. Accelerating sounds like a diesel engine running. Initial acceleration from stop seems tough. Idling seems to want to stall out and vibrates abit. So I decided I would change the spark plugs.
When I changed the spark plugs there was oil and some general dark coverage in the exhaust and intake
Manifold. Apparently called “blow by”
put new sparks plugs in and it ran well for 20 miles then blinking engine light came on. Things got worse. And now I am at a loss of where to go from here.
Can you buy bad spark plugs? Are my plugs even the problem?
I had two bolts break on my from the upper intake. Can missing or broken bolts cause such disruption?
I’ve read many many posts but wanted to get a fresh start on my specific issues.
Thanks.
