People Work?
wow! do you mind me asking what the warranty price was?
When we bought the JT in Feb 22 we paid sticker, but the previous owner had installed $4,000 worth of aftermarket upgrades (prices then).
AEV 2 " Lift
Line - X
N-Fab Steps
BakX4S
Bestop Sunrider

So we got all of that and the 7/100k

It's not an added line item charge. It's buried in the vehicle price.
That's odd because a local dealer is selling "extended warranties" cheaper than norm - they have a thread in the forums here. We bought warranty and it's listed on the invoice.

It was purchased in addition to the Jeep so it's not part of the vehicle price and has a different tax.

I assumed he's asking Snake Eyes what his warranty cost since the post was directly below his.

Otherwise, yeah, CPO is part of the process and is part of the price. .The dealership spends some money and gets that designation and plugs it into the price for the certified pre-owned Jeep.

I figured Mastro was talking to OP Lunentucker since there was no post quoted, but maybe my assumption was wrong. I edited my post for clarity.

I think we are both correct, or both incorrect. Whatever.
Since there wasn't any quoted text, likely asking about the certified pre-owned.

I bought the vehicle pre-owned with 1650 miles on it.
Even at that nonone offers 7/100000..
Diesel is 5/100000 I am thinking and Gas is 3/60000 Drivetrain only.
I believe both types have 3/36000 bumper to bumper . My Jeep is a 21 with 82000 plus. I aint got a stitch of nothing . I even called and they told me that. The only way to get more miles is near the end of your regular warranty to purchase additional miles Chrysler service warranty . Think they will carry it for an additional 3/60,000 or 4/75000

Every Certified Pre Owned Jeep comes with 100k mile/7yr warranty. Very easy to verify right here in this thread or Google it.

Certified pre-owned is a totally different warranty than your normal factory warranty.
CPO vehicles have different warranties.
After-market so-called "warranties" (really a service contract, not a warranty) can be many things, depending on the company.

Why would they do that and then only warranty a new one for 60,000 that's just plain rip off to the guy who buys it new .
It's because there's more risk to a used vehicle - you have no idea how it was treated or serviced, it was used to plow snow, or tow 7,000 pound contractor trailers or raced on the weekend.
Yes, a certified PRE-OWNED does have a bigger warranty to make people more easy about buying a used vehicle.
I'm more concerned about what a prior owner did than a factory issue. Once you get the factory stuff ironed out, if you treat it right your risks are lower.
A used vehicle - you just never know........

When I traded my 2020 JT in on my 2022 JT, the sales guy said right away that my truck was the type they like to get in - they know the owner and care the truck had, the maintenance history and so on, and he said "this for sure will be one of our certified pre-owned Jeeps". Didn't take long for them to sell it.
