Exactly, what's the holdup?
They are still giving away 2023s? If a 12" screen and a full float axle (really the only upgrades for 2024) are worth $12-20k to you, but a discounted 2023 and swap out the head unit and upgrade to 1 tons for the same price? I'm all for the latest and greatest, but throwing money away seems foolish to me.

Is for Jeep to release pricing on the 24’s ?
Good luck on that and get ready to gulp.

They are desperate to get rid of 2023's and offering 15% off all sport models including Willy's. You can literally get 30% off MSRP on some really loaded units...when dealers match the 15% incentive. And they are doing it. I just checked and CarGurus says there are 13K 23's sitting on dealers lots or in transit. Go try to order a 24 online, you can't as you likely noticed. Main difference is the uconnect screen per my observations. I actually prefer the old school 8.4 screen.

I see a FEW 2024's that have hit the dealer's lots and they have a Mark Up as 15 2023's sit on the lot not moving...

Plus, unless you're sitting on $60k+ for a depreciable asset, rates are stupid right now.

Full float isn’t available on the 24.

One thing that I would pay some extra for is the curtain airbags since my son will be in it with me. And for sure the head unit is nice. Once you see it, you can’t unsee it and realize how outdated the 8.4 is.

Everyone’s saying these deals are so great but in reality they are very close to the custom orders from Koons and the like. 8% off invoice, equates to around 13% off MSRP when I used the build sheet and calculated it out. This will vary obviously based off your options.

Jeep recently removed the Mojave and the rubicon from the 15% off MSRP. Now I believe it’s mostly sports.

Of the 6 Mojave’s I was keeping an eye on the highest discount is currently at 13% of MSRP and none of them have exactly what I want in them.

Last month it was at 22% so sure at that point maybe it would be worth it if I wanted to compromise on specifically what I want in it.

But hey, we can wait and see right? If there priced to high then I can make a decision of what’s worth it for me.

Agree, that's why I just bought a 23, but I'm interested in configuring one to see how much I saved.?

Actually my 23 ended up being 20% off retail.

Yes that was a couple of months ago wasnt it?

That’s no longer the case for rubicons and Mojave’s in December. Last month may have been the peak time for a discount on the dealer lot.

maybe peak for advertised pricing. Anyone with some negotiating skills can still snag a great deal. Get em while they last!

Of course, can always get a deal. Just takes a little more effort because corp is not giving the dealers that extra 9% off.

If the 12" screen will bring you the extra joy worth $10k and months of waiting, by all means keep waiting. I picked up my mojave at 20% off retail just under 2 months ago. Sure the 8% off invoice on a custom order gets the price down, but if the JLs are any indication the price increase for the 2024s will likely eat half that discount. I'd be willing to bet a 2024 mojave spec'd the sand as my 2023 will have an msrp over $70k. Mine had a $65k msrp and with the 20% discounts I paid $52k. Add in the fact I was able to snag the $94/tire Walmart deal on 37s and we've already had 1 amazing camping/desert wheeling trip in it and the cost of "wait and see" would have been exorbitant for me. The lift would likely cost the same in 3-4 months when a 2024 order might show up, the tires will cost 3x, the jeep would cost me an extra $10k minimum, and I would have missed out on months of enjoying and using the damn thing. Of course I could get hit by a bus between now and then too. Obviously I chose to pass on the wait and see, and I hope it works out well for those that choose the opposite.

I guess the point of the post was I’m just waiting for the price points to drop so I can make an informed data on actual prices, not just hear say about what people think the 24’s will be priced at.

But hey great job on the deal you put together.
