If you were interested in adding a lighted whip to your Gladiator, what length would best suit your needs?

Depends on where it’s mounted.
A bumper mount would want to be taller than 6ft.
A top mount could use 5 or 6
I have a regular 9ft SxS whip for Ocotillo that I will mount on my Mopar a-pillar brackets once I get them in. That’s taller than necessary but it’s what I ended up with.

Unless the price comes down ( from what I’ve seen in the past ), probably none of them. With that said, if I were to get them, I would get 2, mount them just behind the cab ( so, 4,5,or6 ). They look neat, but I have no idea when/where I would ever get any use out of it.

I wouldn't. It's a Gladiator, not a SxS.
Thank you. First thing I thought of when I saw the poll. There’s no option in the voting for a zero foot lighted whip.

Unless it's a requirement for where I'm going, I would not add one at all.

I know what you’re saying and I agree with you.
Normally I won’t use it but at ocotillo some of the trails cut deep through the hills and the flag helps others see I’m coming around the corner so they won’t crash into me. These are SxS trails that a jeep fits in nicely.
To me it’s a safety issue. Mine to be exact.

Thinking back on this. I don’t think I would need a lighted whip. Those would be for night time use and I have enough lighting on my jeep for people to see me at night. It’s during the day that I would use a whip and would use the standard unlit whip.

I don't see where you would need one We rode the sand dunes for years with our RZRs. And out there at night going through the trails we had to be able to keep up with each other so we could see each other doing 60 through the trails I can't see riding a Jeep on the sand dunes at all myself. Unless you have paddle tires you're going to get stuck in the sand dunes unless you stay just in a straightaways and you wouldn't need one then. I just don't see where people put them on and why they need them except for looks or parades You're not going to be going that fast somewhere where someone can't follow you and that's why they have them originally was for the side by sides when you're going through trails at night Ryan where you can see the person cuz they get too far ahead of you or which trail they took when you came to a y. I'm just telling you it's for looks on a Jeep because I can't imagine any trails where you're going fast enough at night or you can't see the person in front of you but that's coming to someone experienced with RZRs at the sand dunes every month
